When in Montreal a few weeks ago, I had some time to kill my dinner reservation and just happened up on OASIS Immersion (when exploring Montreal's Underground City, I ended up in Palais des Congres, where OASIS is housed). I decided it seemed like a fun way to spend an hour or so before heading to my dinner. I'm glad I stopped by - the show I caught was definitely the best immersive art exhibit I've seen so far. I think they may offer different experiences on different days, but the show I caught was Nature Vive/Root for Nature. The Root for Nature immersive experience brings together several organizations committed to conservation and sustainable development, including the United Nations, the David Suzuki Foundation, the Workshops for biodiversity , the Age of Union Environmental Alliance, the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Tourisme Montréal, WSP and National Geographic. The Experience is produced and traveled by OASIS Immersive Studios in collaboration with National Geographic. The experience had some truly gorgeous nature and landscape photography (I especially loved the first and third galleries), and I found it inspiring and entertaining and well worth the cost of admission.
