Marc is incredible!! We recently had a bunch of trips and events happening altogether and also had one of our cats diagnosed with diabetes. With this diagnosis she needed a strict diet and insulin injection routine. Our first time using a pet sitter we were very nervous about being out of town and making sure our girls were well taken care of. My dog sitter I had for years moved out of state, so I turned to Yelp to look for another one of course! I went through many reviews and High 5 Pet Care was at the top of my list. I set up an appointment with Marc and he met my dogs. I was worried at first because my prior dog sitter was female and did not know how my dogs would react to a male coming into the home. Marc has a very calming demeanor and my dogs loved him! He does a great job sending photos and leaves a paper update for when you get home. He will water plants, check mail and bring in trash cans if you ask as well. His prices are completely reasonable for what he does and the venue. To top it off he has a fantastic online site that you can make payments, add a tip, manage your dogs and look at your updates/photos. It is super cool and I love it. We reached out to Marc, the CEO of High 5 Pet Care, about a week before we needed our cats to be watched. From the very beginning my wife and I could tell that we were leaving our cats in good hands. Not only was he extremely professional but he left my wife, who normally gets anxiety from leaving our pets at home, care free. One of the best things about High 5 Pet Care is that the company uses an app to track their visits which allows you to see when they had staff at your residence, photos of your pet, and also the water/food refill. My wife looked forward to the updates everyday. Our one cat who is really shy hid whenever they were checked on, but we still received pictures of the cat shaped lump under the covers. We requested a visit every other day since cats don't really need too much care. Marc realized that they were going through their food/water too quickly and was able to put out an extra bowl of food and water. do not use this guys service!! if you are a cat or dog owner do not trust this guy with you animals!!!!! he will act like he is so professional but in the end, nothing but compliants!! first off he has a meet and greet to collect any information needed for the animals. we told him very clear instructions. strike one we noticed he did not write any of the instructions down!!! but he insisted everything would be fine! so while out of town, i get a call saying he is waiting at our gate(we left an extra gate opener for him to use) for 10 mins and that already is cutting into the timeframe. then proceeds to go in and call me again saying" what do i do! what do you want me to do? there is litter everywhere! what do i do if the cats get out? what do i do? what is worse is that( see posted picture!!!) he sent an email with a picture of the mess he left and added that he didnt bother feeding them because he ran out of time!! the next day we were told he fed them. out of 6 cats he fed them only 1 can. we were so fed up we told him not to come the last day and headed home early! good thing we did! our cats were so hungry and thristy from him not feeding or giving them water, they were in our cabinets trying to get food, as we saw our cabinets doors wide open and pantry open. when we gave them water its like they hadnt drank in days! i posted the picture showing his message and the mess he left. also the rude text between him because for some reason he thought he should have gottem paid for these lacking services. watch out for this guy!! do not trust him! Marc is great, and we could not have been happier with how he took care of all our pets while we were out of town on a recent week-long vacation. We'd never used a petsitting service or hired anyone to take care of our 2 dogs (and 3 ferrets!) before - any time we'd gone out of town and needed someone to look after our pets, we had friends or family stay at the house. For our recent trip, none of our friends or family was available, though, and so we looked at hiring a petsitter. Truth be told, the prospect of having to go with a petsitter made us somewhat anxious. We had no idea how our pets would handle having a stranger look after them while we were away, one of our dogs is diabetic and so has very special needs (medication injections twice a day, and special feeding requirements, etc). Marc addressed all their needs perfectly, though, and took great care of our entire house-full of animals while we were gone. He'd come over several times a day to let our animals out to use the bathroom and take care of food and water; he had no problem giving our diabetic dog insulin; he'd send us photos and videos of each visit so that we'd know he was making his appointments and we got to see just how much our dogs were enjoying his company while we were gone. Further, his prices were more than reasonable and a far better deal than any of the boarding options we'd looked in to. Our pets got to stay home while we were away, and got to be taken care of by someone who clearly loves animals and loves their job. We'd highly recommend Marc, and are thrilled we've found such a great, local petsitter for any time we might have to go out of town and need someone to look after our pets. read more
