I decided on high and Dry to perform some long overdue crack repairs in my basement. At the first meeting with one of their staff I was taken with their straightforward honesty and expertise and chose them over another well known firm to fix my basement. Their pricing was very fair and when the crew arrived to do the work they were friendly, polite and capable. The work was done well and they left the work areas neat and clean, no mess or debris left behind. Weeks later a heavy rain revealed some leakage behind a couple electrical receptacles I had thought were too much trouble to remove and hoped we could get away with not sealing the cracks behind them. When I called them back they were on it immediately and scheduled a follow-up visit to address the leaks. I was able to remove the electrical boxes to give them access and found another 4 feet of cracks besides. They arrived right on time, repaired both the hidden and the newfound cracks and did it all at no charge, even though it was no fault of theirs. I am truly impressed with the quality of their people and their work. I could not recommend High and Dry any more highly. read more

Awesome service!! The basement in my new home had a crack that seeped water whenever we had heavy rain. My realtor recommended the High and Dry foundation for the repair. I called to have someone come out to my home to give me an estimate before I commit. The owner came out and explained what he would do to fix the problem and looked around for other possible damages in my basement. I was very satisfied with his estimate and decided to go with him. A few days later, a technician came out and filled the crack. Since the repair, like they promised, it has been dry no matter how much rain we get. They also sent me a lifetime warranty certificate to guarantee the integrity of the repair. Very happy with their service. read more

Unfortunately reviewing this company seems to be my only recourse. June 25, Tom came out to give me an estimate. His paperwork detailed what was to be done to make my basement free of water. August 9, the work was completed. I had water in my basement on August 22 and August 26. When talking to Cindy the first time, she explained that I probably needed a sump pump. I already have one. The second time the water poured in, she said someone would have to look at it. Instead of making sure an existing customer was treated fairly, I actually had to wait until today, October 6, to get someone out here. I have now been told I have a different problem that will cost several hundred dollars to repair. Why didn't Tom reveal this when he came to do the original estimate? Cindy and I have had several conversations over the past four months. When I asked for the return of some of my money, she said I was under their guarantee. And at least I wouldn't be charged when someone came out again!!!! Really? That's rich. So now I will continue to have a wet basement because of a " new" problem. I spent $1700.00 of my very hard earned money on the "original" problem. I'm not sure why the guarantee doesn't include this other problem (which was in plain sight when Tom came out), but what I do know is I will not be spending another sum of money to fix this problem. High & Dry is the best company to complete your foundation work. I needed strapping completed on my home due to a wall beginning to lean in. I got estimates from many different companies, including High & Dry. All of the estimates were over $10,000 (one being $15,000!!!!) - except High & Dry. Their estimate was less than half the cost of the others AND they provided a life time transferrable warranty!!! Now that we are selling the house, that transferrable warranty comes in very handy! Naturally, buyers have concerns about the straps and the foundation soundness. I have referred them to High & Dry and they have been treated with respect and kindness and the company answered all of their questions! Additionally, I reached out to High & Dry to ask for some detail around the strapping and foundations in general in the state of Missouri. Not only did they stop what they were doing and write a detailed letter for potential buyers, they did it during probably the highest volume time they have ever experienced with the heavy rains occurring in St. Louis recently. I cannot thank this company and Tom Ely enough for all they have done. They have gone so far above and beyond their original responsibilities that I will never use anyone else if I (God forbid) have any issues in the future. Requested exterior drainage work to carry water away from my foundation. They showed up but suggested an alteration to the plan which I was a little dubious about. But I thought they probably know better than I.This required them to come back out a second time and when that date appeared they said they couldn't do the work (which was scheduled in the early afternoon) due to rain, which isn't according to the forecast, supposed to come until later in the evening. I don't think they wanted to do this job !!!!! read more

High and Dry even during this really rainy season were able to come to my home to inspect the foundation cracks, make recommendations and provide an cost estimate within 3 days. High and Dry Foundation Repair came out to my house and gave us a free quote for our basement water problem. Hydrostatic pressure as well as foundation wall cracks was our issue. Tom was very responsive and knowledgeable to our questions. He was also very personable and willing to work with our situation.
