It is a large restaurants, so good for groups and they have a lovely outdoor seating area, where I see lots of people having drinks in when the weather is nice outside.
The first time I went, lunch was kind of an after thought, but we ordered anyway. The person I was with will eat just about anything... so I don't know that he had a problem with his fish and chips. I had the smothered chicken... a chicken breast grilled with bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce. It actually wasn't too bad, but the extra things on the plate were kind of hit and miss. Not sure why there was garlic bread, but that sent across to the other plate. The chips were soggy, the dressed salad was ok, really... the only side I liked was the coleslaw, but that's because I thought it went with the chicken.
The second time I went, it was because we could not find anything open. The Welshman had the roasted chicken and seemed to like it, although as roasted chicken goes, I would have been surprised if they were able to mess something that simple up. I'm not entirely sure what I had... I remember I did not really enjoy it and did leave a lot left on the plate. Whatever it was, it wasn't memorable. Anyway, it might be a nice place for drinks and convenient if you don't mind chain pub food. They do offer low prices, which I assume is why the parking lot is usually full on weekends.
