I was initially skeptical about staying in a facility of this sort. However, since I didn't know anyone in the area, this option seemed to suit my medical needs. From the beginning (booking), Ms. Lee was responsive and answered all my questions. Upon my arrival at the airport, I had a difficult time locating the pick-up location that I was instructed to use. The driver, Ms. Wilma called me and said, "Stay right there, I'll come find you;" it was at that point that I knew I'd be ok staying at ORH. From start to finish, everyone at the house went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. The variety of meals were tasty, my room was serene and accommodating, and the nursing team was knowledgeable and caring during what was a vulnerable time for me. By the time I left, I felt like I'd made new friends. I'm a frugal person, but my stay with Opulence was worth every penny to not have to worry about transportation, meds, food, personal care, etc. I don't know if I'll ever do another medical procedure, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to book ORH. Special thanks to Ms. Lee for setting the tone for my stay; Tawny for her wisdom, kindness, and our girl chats ; Ms. Wilma for getting me everywhere safely, her sense of humor and care; and Jaime for her thoroughness and yummy meals. If I could give them more stars I would…read more If you are going through a caregiving journey with an aging parent or loved one, hands down comfort keepers was one of the best choices we could have made. Caring for a loved one in your home is an all hands on deck sort of situation (depending on the needs of your loved one). In our case it was anyways, and there were some aspects of caregiving that were beyond our capabilities. We met with a representative and discussed needs and expectations, what they could and could not do and they matched us with a couple caregivers who were absolute angels on earth. The time they spent in our home was MORE than appreciated and worth EVERY PENNY. Our loved one looked forward to her visits with Michelle or Mickie each week, and the companionship and expertise that they showed her (and us) was undlessly appreciated. I can not thank them enough, and can't tell you, if you are starting your journey caring for a loved one, get help. It does take a village and comfort keepers can be part of that village.
