They said they didn't know anything about it and that the car had been detailed. Which, it obviously hadn't been because the mats have grime on them as well. At best they did a light vacuum in the car. So now I get to drop 300$ on shampooing the whole inside of my car (: They didn't change the air filter in the glove compartment and they couldn't even be bothered to fill the tank for me when I bought it. You would think that they would give their customers a clean car with a full tank.

They have a wide variety of apparel for both men and women, which made browsing even more enjoyable. While I was looking through the ladies' section, a staff member came over to check on me and ended up helping me pick out a few items. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. It wasn't until I went to check out that I learned the store had been closed the entire time. Even then, they never rushed me or made me feel like an inconvenience. They still allowed me to complete my purchase--something I truly appreciated since I'm from out of town and always pick up Harley shirts for my boys who collect them from different states I travel to. They could have easily turned me away, but instead they went above and beyond. This dealership delivers top-tier customer service. Highly recommend!

Why didn't they tell me when I first called them? A few weeks later I had a similar issue and now I have been waiting for 2 1/2 weeks for them to fix it. They should have fixed it by now, but I haven't heard a peep from them. While the staff is friendly and helpful, they need to communicate better. I have no idea what they are doing to my scooter, or if they are doing anything. Yes, they have a small service staff but something should have been done by now. I am very disappointed.

I live an hour and a half away and I just wanted to get the out the door Price before I made the trip over there to take a look at their inventory. I was transferred to JB who gave me all the upfront costs and the out door price without hesitation. He was upfront and honest every step of the way. I came to look at one of their units with a check in hand. He treated me no differently, even though I wasn't going to make them any interest off of a loan. JB was amazing from the first moment. Even found a unit in the exact color I was looking for. Threw in an extra key fob. The entire staff was very nice and welcoming. Shout out to the guy in the back that was setting up my slingshot. There are supposed to be three of them on staff usually and he was the only one there that day so I know he had a lot going on, but he knocked it out real fast! I was so happy with the entire process from start to finish. I will definitely be bringing my slingshot back there for all my servicing needs.

I was dealing with Kat (the saleswoman) and told her what I needed to get for my bike on a trade. She looked up what the bike was worth and what they were selling for in the area and did not think it would be a problem. I told her I would get back to her. I left and a short time later I reached out to her to see what she could, if anything, on the price of the bike I was looking at and run some numbers to include the trade. A little back and forth and we came to an agreement. She sent it to me but said she had to wait until Monday to get confirmation from the sales manager or the general manager, both of whom were out for the weekend at an Indian convention. Monday came and she reached out to me to tell me her general manager agreed to the deal. I thought all was good to go. But, on Tuesday (I believe it was) enter the sales manager, Cody. Apparently, he overrode what they general manager agreed to and said they had to "back down" on the deal. So, I had to start again. Turns out I had to pay 600$ more than originally agreed upon. The one thing he said sums up his whole attitude, "I can sell that bike all day long at that price, and we haven't even got to the season yet". Oh, they then put my trade up for sale for more than 3 times what they gave me for it. What a shame. Now when people ask where I got the bike, I tell them I bought it locally but that I do not recommend going there. First thing I did was take off the Gina's license plate holder. If it had not been for the fact that I really, really, wanted that bike, I would have definitely walked away (ran away). Dealing with Kat and Tammy (the finance lady) was a pleasure, but that was the only bright part. Also, absolutely no follow up from anyone.

My husband and I purchased a bike from here and we felt we got our moneys worth. The owner and his staff were very friendly and informative. They were able to answer every single question and took their time with us even though the Store was pretty busy with other customers. I would give them 100 stars if I could. The owner not only helped lift the bike up into our truck, but went an extra step to put cardboard down in the trunk so the gasoline wouldn't leak out into the car. He also didn't just sell us a bike, he went through maintenance, and proper care of the bike with us. We left away feeling good and our son has been enjoying this bike ever since. We will definitely be coming back once our other kids are age-appropriate to ride a bike.

I gave them my 440 engine for machine work with a list of everything I wanted checked/repaired. It…read moreneeded to be bored for oversized pistons, so I told them to tell me what size pistons I would need to order since I had specific ones picked out for my build. 2 wks later they tell me my engine was ready and that they just ordered stock compression oversized pistons. I said that's not what I wanted, I wanted a specific compression ratio. They said ok, and ordered 2 diff. sets to get the correct compression pistons. When I got the engine back, the deck surface was not resurfaced. They said it looked 'fine' and didn't need to be resurfaced, even though it had impressions of the original headgaskets. I asked what brand bearings and rings they used and did not get a specific answer. When I went to install the lifters, most of them would not slide into their bores because they were not cleaned or dressed well enough and had buildup. I had to carefully clean the lifter bores without getting debris inside the engine. The initial fire up and cam break in went good, except for a considerable rear main seal oil leak that started about 10 min. into break-in. I drained the break-in oil and found it looked like silver paint. I filled it with fresh oil, changed the filter and ran it again. The engine had good oil psi, didn't make any abnormal noise but continued to leak. I changed the oil again after about an hour of run-time, and the oil that came out still looked like silver paint. I removed the oil pan and replaced the rear main seal. I removed a main bearing cap while the pan was down and the bearing did NOT look like it only had 1.5 hours on it. I reinstalled the oil pan, changed the filter and filled it with new oil. I drove the car around the neighborhood for about 10 miles and my oil leak was back, and I was starting to hear some internal noise from the engine. I listened with a stethoscope and heard the noise from the crankshaft area. I also noticed the crankshaft walking in and out while running. I then checked for crankshaft thrust play with a prybar, it was excessive. I took another oil sample, it still looked like silver paint. I spoke with John at Markham, he told me to remove the engine and he would take care of it. I removed the engine and cylinder heads and found the #8 cylinder had deep grooves and scratch marks on the top and opposite bottom of the cylinder. I removed the #8 piston and found the piston was gouged badly near the ring lands corresponding with the scratch marks in the cylinder. The cam and lifters looked perfect when removed and were not damaged during the break-in process. When I dropped off the engine, John was confused about the marks in the cylinder and piston. I provided dated oil samples from each oil change I did to show him what the oil looked like. I showed him pictures I took of the main bearings when I had the oil pan off and he said they look 'fine'...I disagree. I called about a month later, he did not have any update for me. 6 wks after that, he still didn't have any answers for me. I was frustrated and told him I was going to pick up the engine and have it repaired somewhere else. When I showed up the next day to pick it up, he said to me 'You know your engine is all apart, don't you?' I told him I did not because I had not heard ANY updates from you. I asked what he found wrong with it and he didn't know what was wrong with it. As I was loading up the parts, I noticed all of the bearings were gone. I asked where they were and no one could find them...I was told they were thrown away. Now the engine is at a much more professional shop, I am waiting on the estimate for what exactly the problem is and how much it will cost to fix. I would NOT recommend Markham Machine Shop to anyone. I am told they used to be a good, reputable shop but I can say from experience they are no longer.
