Great service as usual. I always bring my phones here for repair from screen replacement to battery replacement. I've also purchased a used phone from here that was unlocked and in great condition. This last visit was great as usual. I initially took my daughter's phone to Batteries + for a battery replacement. The techs at Batteries + not only couldn't replace the battery, but they even fried the circuit board and gave me back a non functioning phone. Originally I was a bit skeptical about this place. My mistrust was misplaced, however. I went in to buy a cheap flip phone because my iPhone 4S had suffered "water damage" according to the Apple Store in the 5th avenue mall. It would have cost $200 and my old phone to replace it. Once you bring it back to them 3 months later and they acknowledge their battery was horrible and they agree to give you your money back because their battery was crappy they'll only give you back half of what you paid for! Go to Cracked Wireless or Batteries Plus Bulbs instead for a cell phone battery -- Batteries Plus Bulbs will give you 100% refund if they sell you a crappy battery for up to six months. Also the owner is very rude and has horrible customer service. The sales people may be friendly but the owner is not. I was pleased to find out the price of my iphone screen replacement went down from $180 to $150. My iphone 7 had been run over by a truck when it fell out of my pocket when I went 4-wheeling and was completely destroyed, the housing was intact but the screen was so badly damaged that when I'd get a phone call, it would ring but not light up- just stayed black and shattered. They had it fixed for me in 45 minutes and I even got a reduced price on some optional (and highly recommended) tempered glass for having my phone fixed in their store, so not paying full price for that product was nice. They have an adorable and friendly little shop dog, she did a trick with a tennis ball with me in the store, she was fun to play with. I think her name was deshka(?) I broke my iphone last night and needed it fixed ASAP because I'm on a business trip from Fairbanks and I'm flying out to Nome in the morning. I was in a bit of a panic since I'm not from Anchorage and I didn't know where to go to for immediate help. I was able to get ahold of my husband who was able to find these guys and tell them what was wrong, and that I was coming. Howard greeted me by name when I got there which was so nice. The guys here were so friendly and knew what was wrong right away (the screen was broken but it was internal so you could not visibly see the damage, except that it didn't work at all), and had my phone fixed within 15 minutes! They gave me a good deal, too and also helped me out with some other problems I was having with transferring photos from my phone to my tablet. The guys here are super knowledgeable and so friendly, which was such a relief after my huge panic I was having not able to use my phone! I am so glad I came here! Their little shop is clean and bright and was easy to find. My phone now is working great and with the new screen it looks brand new and even cooler than it did before! Been there twice! Both times I had to stand and wait for service, but the lady in the corner would say hello but then look back down at what I think would be her personal phone, texting away! (while waiting for my items to be done I saw her do this to others) 1. Had my iPhone 4s screen replaced for $90, works great, has a few flickers but nothing I can't live with. Had to wait about an hour to get fixed. Then found out it was done in about 35min, but all the employees where doing personal task and not taking care of the six other people that where sitting with me. I watched at least three leave. 2. ( this time three different people helped me but always needed to check with the other to see what was going on) Two days after my screen was replaced my power button went out. Took it back in showed them the bill of sale for my screen, explained to them that prior to my screen repaired, all was 100%. The guy said let me check for you, came back and said will take care of it! Thinking they will replace it. So I wait another 30-40 mins, me while everyone is doing personal task that I watched people come and go. The guy comes back with my phone and hands it to me, "all set" he says, I was like "thanks"! He's like "that will be $60" I told him I was not paying $60 for that to be replaced, can I speak to a manager? The manger comes around, pretty sure the one who worked on my phone. I told him my phone was working just fine prior to them fixing my screen, he replied back "power buttons, don't last forever and we don't even touch the power button when we replace screens" I then said but your going to change me $60 bucks for a used power button?( the power button was very damaged, scratched and chipped up) I gave him my phone back and told him to put back in the broken one. He took my phone and a few mins later came back and was like "just take it, I more more important things todo" so I said thank you and left!! Will never go back, and won't speak well of this place! I only have been twice-disappointed by this place. They misplaced my nephews iTouch for several months, saying that a container that it was in was placed upside-down...19 became 61, supposedly. It was an itchy couple of months because they would take my name and number but would not call me back, therefore I did not know if the iTouch was in safe and capable hands. I get iTouch back, several months later after numerous phones calls and pleas. It should have never gotten to that point. The second time, I thought the prior incident was just a simple mistake on their part. I took in my tiny Nano iPod in March, now several months later, after several phone calls and unreturned messages...they tell me that they can not put my iPod back together, it's still in pieces and that I forfeit my deposit of repair, because it is not their fault. I am not a tech savvy person but knew that all my iPod needed was a simple battery replacement and if I want to get my 700+ songs back, I need to purchase another device....WTF!?! I got that iPod for Mother's Day years ago, rarely found the time to use it and cherished it because my son gave it to me. It was not cheap and nor was it something he could afford at that age. These people are the BEST. My cellphone was grandfathered into an unlimited data plan and it was my only connection to the internet. When it stopped working, the wireless provider refused to allow me to transfer it to another phone. The only option left was to try and fix my 6 year old (ancient) phone. High Frequency wireless is NOT reliable, NOT professional, and do NOT keep their word. I cracked my phone screen so I gave them a call to find out what it would take to fix it. I was told they had the parts on the way and they would be there in 2 days, so I OVERNIGHTED my phone to them. I payed $185 up front. I was told I would get a call when its fixed. A week later I had to call them for an update and they hadnt even received the parts, they told 5 to 6 business days it would be fixed and they would call me. A week later I called again and spoke with who I would assume is the owner, who said sorry for the wait it should be done in a few day and that he would credit my account for the shipping fee and personally call me to let me know when it's done. Didnt get a call for another 3 days, when I did it was a technician telling me I could come pick up my phone!!! I live 400 miles away. They shipped my phone the next day and I got it a week later.
