Please note that Jabulani Vineyards has been sold, and will change hands at the beginning of May,…read morewhen a new vintner will take over operations. I've wanted to go there for years, but never made it. What a shame I didn't go! It's a lovely place - big and inviting, with a lovely outdoor seating area (not today though, with the damp rain and cold). They have an inside area available for wine tastings for weddings. However, there were no tastings planned today, and now that they're closing, likely never again. No bottles are open now that they're closing. To celebrate their closing, Jabulani is offering what is left of their various wines at a discount. This is what enticed us today. I look forward to enjoying the wines we chose, and we wish the owners good luck in their retirement from Jabulani. Also good luck to the new owners, when they take over.

Such a nice place! The vineyard is about half an hour drive from Ottawa. It is owned by a man from…read moreSouth Africa and his wife. They are so nice! Upon arriving, they will give you a menu of their wines. You can select six to try for free. If you want food, you have to buy a bottle (they said it has to do with laws regarding serving food since they are not a restaurant). My favorites were the Frontenac Blanc, the MCM (a red wine on the lighter and fruitier side), and the Rose. This would be a great place to hold an event such as a wedding, but you would need to reserve a year ahead of time. They said they are already booked up for all of 2018!

The crowd in my car became kind of antsy and the micro brewery sign was my only hope to calm down the grown up kids. What we found around was awesome: * restaurant that offers the wines and beers of Les Vents d'ange and where the food is exclusively seasonal. We decided to taste the three beers offered by the microbrewery, which came with complimentary pumpkin seeds, the beers are wonderful and La 31 brew is pumpkin based. Our little snack were snails prepared in delicata squash and garnished with pumpkin chips, absolutely outstanding dish. The bistro has a terrace with nice views of the surrounding farms. * store offering the very same beers and wines, which you can actually taste there * and last, but not least, pumpkin market! All the incredible pumpkins and squashes available for us to pick and choose. They have signs describing the different sorts, so the buyers can actually plan their next potential culinary experiment. In case you have too many pumpkins you can transport them with a construction trolley to your car. No doubt Les Vents d'Ange is a perfect place to stop by after apple picking in the area for whatever you feel like, good food and drinks, or just a pumpkin or two.

Made three different wines here: A fabulous Sparkling Apricot & Peach, a delicious Blood Orange Island Mist Sangria, and a Limited Edition White. All of them were right on point. 2 of these choices were based on talking with Jason and telling him what we are looking for, and he hit the profile bang on. The place is super cute, clean, and organized. Jason, the owner, and his staff are top-notch in knowledge, serviceability, and connection. Thanks Guys, we will surely see you again!!

I bottled on my own and was offered help in every stage as well. I was making wine elsewhere and recently realised that I was just not finding the quality good enough to serve to friends. I made the pink Pinot and was super impressed but THEN made the Prosecco type in only a few weeks and last night my guests drank TEN bottles!! it was such a hit. Delicious and reasonable. I had one guest who will be making it for her wedding! I had LCBO wine beside it and they went for the Wine station Prosecco (Champagnade) every time. Plus popping those corks made it feel special! Thanks for suggesting it and rushing it for me Jason!! A Happy customer....Tina.
