Magnifique! Viator Tour…read more Omg, I had the pleasure to do this Walking ‍ Food Tour w/ Dominique. She's great @ her job & has a whimsical personality. Everyone loved her bc she made us all feel Welcomed. There's a pop quiz in the beginning, hahahaha, Nah! I'm joking! She will ask, where ur from, so don't 4get, Lol We went to "The Famous Bagel shop" & a few other shops along our route. All restauranteurs were friendly to us. Most of us didn't speak Parla Vous Francais, but that was ok, bc they speak fluent English in the downtown area. Not , so much outside of downtown, if u venture out. We met @ The Famous Guillame breakfast nook & I bought a Guillame yellow tote bag which came in handy later @ other stores. I threw everything I bought; into this hefty bag. Ok, bk to the walking food tour. It was cold , but bc Dominique was so professional & organized, we didn't have time to feel cold we bounced flawlessly from restaurant to restaurant in ease. She told stories about each restaurant as we ate. U don't have time to get bored bc she keeps u moving. So, don't diddle dally, Lol I'm not sure , if you'll met @ the same spot as we did, but nonetheless; you'll like it. What's funny , i thought i was gonna meet ppl from around the world in our group, but it was mostly ppl from the U. S. A. All East coast at that, bc we don't like to stay home hahaha the world is our oyster . Far north were ppl from Maine, Alaska, Boston, NYC, & Long Island ain't that Special? Hahahaha! So, we felt @ home & the cold didn't bother us bc Montréal weather is like all those States or actually Maine , Alaska & Boston r the coldest probably colder than Montreal. If u wear the right coat or Parker jacket you'll be fine. I'd definitely, do this Tour again. What was nice is now I may do one in NYC when I return. The only difference is I'll have to hold my breath; pass all the Urine smells from the homeless on the streets; yuck Oh, I 4got, she doesn't like u talking bad about where ur from even if it's true. Lol Viator Tours is the way 2 go. I recommend, Dominique she's very attentive including everyone. Even if u come solo, bc some friends or spouses don't like to do the same things. She even took us to places I had never been before and I have visited Montreal almost 20 times....So it was really informative. Our tour had about 25-30 people. They now charge a $5 per person fee when reserving. You tip the guide at the end of the tour.

They were also very flexible with pricing in terms of making it at a point where my group of 22 dudes for a bachelor party felt comfortable. informative: The trip was great, every stop came with access to how each brewery made their beer and a variety of taste test (2 - 4 beers). Our package came with 4 breweries and food at the final stop. The food options were cheeseburger, poutine, and a salad. Fun: Overall Cedric matches your energy level. We had a rowdy group which was a bit intoxicated. Our group had a great time, learned a lot and having transportation included took a big burden off of our group. We had a pretty cool 25 passenger bus which took us to every location. It was a great way to see other parts of the city. each leg of the trip was 10-12 minutes long, so we could chat, see some sights, and ask questions about the city. Pro Tip: Call ahead and price shop around. Depending on group size you may want to go with another place because they are on the higher end of the brew tour industry in Montreal. Once we arrived, Mat was super welcoming and understanding of us being late. He provided us with so much knowledge about beer, local breweries, his personal experience with brewing beer, and history about the city. We met some great people on this tour and made friends that we are still in contact with. I want to go back to Montreal just so i can do this tour again with the hopes of having May as our guide again. I would recommend this tour to anyone that likes beer or doesn't like beer. I'm going to go with other reviewers on this one... the land tour was congested and we saw more on foot. It was good (not great). Going in the water was cool and you did see a lot of features including a cruise boat, the city skyline, the Expo 67 condos (weird architecture), the spa, and several other areas. Difficult to find! They need more signage for sure. I walked all over trying to find it. Its actually in a small tent on the street. However that being said its not very popular and we were able to walk on (after purchasing tickets) on a Saturday for the next ride. The tour guide was OK. It was both in French and English.
