My daughter has experienced nothing but a warm, positive environment, with patient, and exuberant instructors who always seem to know the exact moment to redirect and refocus her. I want to mention that I had taken my daughter there last week for her BTC class, and we were late (got our schedules crossed). Well, one of the instructors, Brian, politely came over and asked if he could take my daughter aside to help her with some kicks and do some drills. My daughter was so happy to have that quality time, and it made her (as well as my) day. I had told Chris Gates this story, and he humbly told me that he teaches his instructors that anytime is a good time for a lesson. He added that, if there is a free instructor, that they should seek to teach. His influence is obvious, and his instructors follow that mantra religiously. A top-notch place, and one that I will always sing praises about. PS: If your child has ADHD (like mine), then he/she will most certainly benefit from enrolling in one of Chris Gates' classes. On top of all the amazing activities such as him getting to break confidence wooden boards, my son also got the thrill of cutting his birthday cake with a super cool kitana sword! Everyone had so much fun and this will definitely be a birthday party we will remember fondly for quite some time ! :) We are lucky to have found Atomic Tae Kwon Do for my son's twice weekly core skills classes!
