The area is one of the best in Coventry. It is currently arranging the building work of an extension on the school for extra classrooms. Some of the teachers lacked in discipline and even let pupils get away with cheating in exams! The I.T. department was dreadful, with us pupils knowing more than the teachers at times. The best departments were the art, history and textiles departments. The teachers always had innovative new ways to teach us and most lessons were a joy. The school dinners were not nice and I spent the last two years of my time there going home for dinner. The school did receive a very good OFSTED report whilst I was there and I hear that it is continuously improving under the supervision of the great head mistress!

I used to love going to assemblys and the library there as they were both huge and had large windows there. The library was so comfortable to be in especially when it was raining outside cause you could jump onto those big bean bags and read a 'Biff and Chip' book in quiet. The Library is also on the second floor so could see some distance of Birmingham from above. There is loads of playgrounds and fields there for sheer fun and amusement at break times and sports days. They offer brilliant facilites for both pupils and people within the community. As it is a sports college, it has brilliant sports facilities including a gym, an astro turf football pitch and more than one large sports hall. The sixthform offered here is fantastic, and a new dedicated sixthform building was built recently and adds to the schools dedication to its pupils. Having spent 7 years here, I think I can pretty much say it is a superb school and deserves all credit given to it. Both staff and pupils have worked hard over the years to keep a good reputation for the school and are continuing to do so.
