This is one of…read morethe best state schools in Birmingham, with many well established teachers which is a luxury you don't often get so many of in one school. They offer brilliant facilites for both pupils and people within the community. As it is a sports college, it has brilliant sports facilities including a gym, an astro turf football pitch and more than one large sports hall. The sixthform offered here is fantastic, and a new dedicated sixthform building was built recently and adds to the schools dedication to its pupils. Having spent 7 years here, I think I can pretty much say it is a superb school and deserves all credit given to it. Both staff and pupils have worked hard over the years to keep a good reputation for the school and are continuing to do so.

OK, when I was…read morethere, all those years ago, half of the teachers didn't turn up for lessons, then there was that unfortunate incident with Mr. X and sixth former X. However, I'm reliably informed that this latter situation occurs in every secondary school, and - as for slack teachers - I know that's now a thing of the past (lucky us of the 90s who spent lessons chasing rats around the classroom!) Seriously, what a great place. High achieving academically, a place where you will make wonderful friends, and a place which willl generate many fond memories as you steadily approach your 40s (eeek).
