Champion Car Sales

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! People only seem to write reviews for extreme service - well, these guys are…read moreextremely good! Firstly, my car is perfect - brought online/phone without a test drive, yet 100% what they said it was. But you care about the business: I'm only buying from them from now on because the prices are very fair, they are honest about the cars, and provide great service (including delivery anywhere in NZ!). I dealt with Dean mainly (also Richard) but the whole place is professional business - focused on high turnover and getting repeat customers. All/most cars are AA tested - better than any test drive, so far as I am concerned. Their starting prices are fair market rate and don't have hidden extras. I check NZ wide and their cars are around the same price as auction/private sales - plus you get consumer protection. They do knock the prices down further, but don't expect too much unless it hasn't sold for a while. The best thing was the service - it was just like a new car dealers - for example, Dean organised a towbar to be added (only $550 including the safety inspection) and delivery (Au to PN overnight for just $330!).

Searched through car dealers for my choice and Advantage cars had what I was requiring. Visited their extensive dealership with excellent quality cars. Just what I wanted. Explained my position and the team were happy to work with us awaiting the outcome. Happily my crashed vehicle was restored and i ended up purchasing the other vehicle from Advantange Cars also. The deal & service thanks to Joel White was beyond my expectations. A very comfortable and non pushy experience. I highly recommended the team for going the extra mile Robert & Shirley Turner
Ellerslie Car Fair
Whenever I'm in the hunt for a new car (by new I mean used), I will always check out the Ellerslie…read moreCar Fair. Heaps of people come here every Sunday in order to buy and sell used cars. The Car Fair is great and well organised with heaps of cars to look at if you are interested in buying. The owners usually stay with their cars so that the buyer can thoroughly check the car inside and out and ask any questions that they might have. I hate buying a car, it's always such a dreaded thing and you never know whether you're going to get a shitter or not. I'm not saying that the Ellerslie Car Fair contains no shitters, but at least you have a bunch of cars in one place, which are all being sold individually. You can check the cars out properly and even take them for a test drives.
Ellerslie Car Fair is instantly gratifying. Second hand car shopping can be quite the ordeal,…read moreparticularly as most of its done over the internet these days. But at the Ellerslie Car Fair you can see the car for yourself, right in front of you and instantly form an opinion. You can take a thorough look inside and out, you can touch it, smell it (and even taste it if you really wanted). You can speak to the owner face to face, ask questions and set up a test drive. If you want the car you can negotiate a price then and there (no trying to guess reserves or battling an auto-bid). I've bought my last two cars at the Ellerslie Car fair and have been stoked with both of them. If you've just started the car hunt it's also a good way to gauge what is available in your price range. For both buyers and sellers I would recommend the Car Fair; it's for people that want action and can't be bothered stuffing around

Bought a car from out of town and the experience was a joke. They wouldn't negotiate on price,…read morewouldn't even put in a tank of fuel (apparently "the boss only lets them fill up from gas canisters" - whatever that means), and the only sweetener they offered was a set of generic floor mats. I paid full asking price anyway. When the car arrived, there were no mats at all. I've contacted Daniel several times, but he just ignores me completely. Once they've got your money, they couldn't care less. The service is sloppy, the communication is non-existent, and the whole outfit feels like they're cutting corners everywhere. Do yourself a favour and avoid Pearce Brothers.

Armstrong Motor Group - Auckland

Avoid Armstrong's Auckland - Dishonest Sales Tactics & Hidden Costs…read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this dealership has been a year-long nightmare. I purchased a brand new Leapmotor C10, and the lack of integrity from the sales team is staggering. First, I was gaslighted about basic accessories; the car was delivered without mats, and I was told they 'would come later'--I chased for months - they are very good at making excuses. I was only given one key, and the dealership acted like they were doing me a 'favour' by ordering a second one that should have been standard. Most shockingly, they charged me $499 + GST for a 'Wall Charger.' Every Leapmotor C10 comes with factory charging cables standard; I just noticed on an unsigned agreement they sent which means that - they essentially forced me to pay extra for equipment the car cannot function without. I brand new car had faulty battery and they took weeks to repair, then scratched my car and I had to fight so hard against gas lighting me that it again was my fault. Despite being promised a service plan at the time of sale, they are denying it exists and trying to charge me for my first annual service. Check your contracts carefully--or better yet, go to a dealer that values honesty. Terrible customer service and a complete lack of after-sales support. Do not buy from here.stay away.
