The rehearsal went smoothly even though there were about 50 people at the church lol My husband and I are different faiths and this was the first Christian wedding I was experiencing so I was a bit nervous. He made sure I was comfortable and everyone knew what they needed to do. The day of the wedding (May 27), everything was ready for our ceremony as planned and I got so many compliments on how engaging, fun, and personalized our ceremony was.

Short review here because of poor customer service…read more We were looking for a Unitarian church in central mass to host our wedding this fall. This being one of the closest to us was our 1st choice, however we had reservations right from the 1st time we drove out to the building. The 1st problem, there is no parking for this parish. The Citizen's bank across the street makes it very clear that their spaces are for their customers only, and behind the chruch is a boys club, so many of those spaces are used by vans during the weekends. That leaves around 40 public on street parking. The major problem however is once we contacted the office and set up a visit. My bride to be and I show up 20 Min's early, as we often do, only to find the church locked. So we waited until our appointment time and still locked door, no sign of life from within the building. We call the church's number, no answer, just a machine, I leave a message, after 20 min's after our appointment time we decide to leave. 2 Days later, our appointment was on a Tuesday 5:30 pm, I finally receive a phone call, on my voicemail, The office worker did apologized, and offer to set up another time to view the inside of the church as soon as possible, but by then our taste was sour for this church and we moved on.

WCUMC is a great church to bring up a family. Then there's Rev Geisa's sermons that come from a different perspective that make us better adult people. She really makes you think and her enthusiasm is contagious. After church, if you want to get to know people there is some refreshments downstairs. Everyone is so friendly. There are also many ways that you can serve others in the community through St Paul's Meal, the Food Pantry, UMARMY, and JFON. There's a lot of love coming from this church. The newer MESSY church program,which is open to everyone, is on some Friday nights and is perfect after a long work week since dinner is served before a relaxed creative get together with music and a craft. Everyone has a smile when they leave. Oh, I almost forgot the amazing music program with the Karen's leadership definitely gives WCUMC 5 stars.

It's a Christmas Light show with music an lights an a big screen projected on the side of the building. They also pass out free got chocolate which is nice that they do this for the community. Thank you the everybody involved with making this happen it really is a pleasure to go to. Would recommend taking or going an bringing the family great place had a blast.
