Theologically deep teaching, rich in both knowledge and practicality. This carries through in the music too, contemporary worship but they don't just sing any and every song out there, the worship is chosen based on theological soundness, doctrinal depth, and scriptural backing. The youth ministry is thriving, our 17 year old can't wait to go each Wednesday night. Also the lay elders are able and capable preachers which is biblical. Paul tells Timothy that elders must be "able to teach" (1 Tim. 3:2). He tells Titus that elders "must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it" (Titus 1:9). Must churches choose elders solely because of their financial status in the community.

We like the humility and truth he projects. Two things he says that gets my heart strings: 1. "No perfect people allowed. We are all broken and we at the Crossroads just realize we can not fix ourselves" 2. "My job is not to convince you of anything, but to tell you what scripture says about what we are studying." Basically what does God say say about it. We love how they open with prayer. Sharing things we need to pray for each other. And those breakfast burritos...thank you for those!

There are about 3-400…read morecongregations that meet on the sunday worship service at 10 AM and they have got excellent nursery so that parents can get a break and focus on worship. They also offer many ministry groups that you can become part of. If you are new to the church they have a connection dinner once a month where you goto someone's home and eat and meet with the pastor and other leaders in the church and get to know each other. They offer small group meetings where you do a weekly bible study in a group setting- sometimes these are the opportune times to help you really connect with ppl in church and make life long friends. They got a full worship band that makes the sunday worship really colorful and pastor Eric's sermon is always on point with the bible. Give this church a try!

The staff is great and friendly. Welcome team does a great job getting you where you need to go. The kids ministry is awesome with an iPad check in system with stickers for added security for your kids. They are building a new building and are being very up front about costs and seem to be making sure all money is being spent in a way of honoring God. It's one of the…read morehealthiest churches I've seen as far as atmosphere and deep solid teaching that lines up with the Word of God. There seems to be a genuine care for people here. There are many small groups to be involved in. This is not a one-man show type of church that is common these days. I had the opportunity to attend in my twenties as well as my forties. They love God and love others which is how Jesus summarized the two greatest commandments.
