Within 45 minutes after my first acupuncture treatment, I was able to walk and my pain had lessened ( more than 15% improvement after 1st session). By the time I finished 6 sessions, I had more than 50% improvement. My boyfriend and I sought joint treatment; he tends to have pain in his lower back; and I, as a student, deal with high levels of stress which results in chronic migraines. The doctor had a remedy for that. He did an evaluation of our daily habits. From diet, menstruation, medical conditions, to family history - everything shy of our social security numbers lol.
