It was the same terrible "butter cream". The cake was way too dry. Couldn't even cut it without it falling apart into a massive pile of crumbs. It was hard to get down. The vanilla tasted like an overly eggy, super cheap box mix. Fake vanilla flavor. It was the worse tasting vanilla cake I have ever tasted. Even my dad hated it and he loves cake. It was so bad I wanted to teach them how to make a cake. Give them some tips and pointers. I mean. How hard is it to go on Pinterest and watch YouTube videos!?! Then maybe they will learn how to do a cake. The chocolate cake was a basic meh cake. The spiced cake was ok. But again the crumb was terrible. It was like eating sand. The only saving Grace was the pumpkin cake. It was underbaked, but it was at least edible and enjoyable.... Until we paired with the frosting. And then it was ruined. I was in tears at the thought of this bakery being our only option for our wedding. We already wasted $25 for a tasting. Luckily we pushed back the wedding now have proper time to look for a bakery who does cakes from scratch and not from boxer mix.
