The tub/shower is probably the first I've seen that was not at all slippery while showering/bathing. Decent lighting for makeup. The fridge and microwave were handy and also very clean. The AC was easy to use and kept us quite comfortable in our first floor room. (The outside temps were in the 90's. The Cattleman's Steakhouse next door offered 10% off with a room at the hotel so we walked over and enjoyed a delicious meal. The hotel offered a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice selection of breakfast offerings: eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, cocoa, cereals. The hotel is great for travelers who are looking for a clean and reliable place to stay. It's just off the highway and very easy drive to "the main strip" in Willow Springs. When I had a slight wardrobe malfunction in the morning, the front desk was able to provide me with a tiny sewing kit and I was good to go.

I had a bad feeling when I walked into their lobby at about 10:45 the evening before the funeral. The lobby had just been hot-boxed by a cigarette smoking, albeit kind, attendant . Next, my family and I walked into a second floor (205) musty, humid, hot room at about 10:45 in the evening before a funeral the following day. We booked for two nights, but left within 12 hours. The following unravelled: 1.) The musty smell came from a leak from the wall unit A/C, with corresponding mold (found this out at step 2). Turned A/C on in hopes of airing out and cooling off the place. 2.) When adjusting the A/C in the middle of the night, my feet were soaked by water pooling around the adjacent carpet. 3.) The shower drain was partially clogged so that you were ankle deep in water at the end of a 5 minute shower. 4.) The shower handle fell off. 5.) Two of my children who shared a bed developed multiple welts the next afternoon from insect bites. 6.) The floors were filthy, even by hotel standards. I spoke with the owners the next morning and told them how the night went (with the exception of the bug bites which were discovered later that morning). All they told me was that they were about to start renovating. They would not refund my money ($135) for the three bed/two room "suite". If there is a BBB in Mountain Grove, I will likely file a complaint pending the results of my complaint to Days Inn Customer Care. We ended up drying over an hour away to Springfield (La Quinta) which was $10 more for the night, but light years ahead in quality and customer service.

Relax and Recharge…read more We stayed here for one night during a road-trip vacation, and it was just what we needed. The inn is spacious and luxurious. The grounds, including the swans and ducks, really help re-energize your spirit. Innkeeper Cheri is delightful and friendly, without being overbearing. I found it very neat and convenient that she will communicate with you via text, rather than a knock on the door or a call; that really adds to the relaxing feel of the inn. I'm trying to think of a criticism, but can't. We would definitely stay here again.

The parking spot for diamond honor is also very close in front of the hotel for us to use. There is construction in progress here, which is mostly noticeable on the first floor on our way to the elevator. Our room is on the third floor. The morning breakfast has decent selections. With the amount of money spent to stay here, we expected much more, we are honors members and this hotel needs to be looked at. Very unhappy customers.

Mansfield Woods Vacation Cabins is owned by Barbara S. Herring and is extremely poorly run. Both…read morethe property and the cabins are in extremely poor state. Perhaps some time ago they were in better shape, but they clearly have been neglected for a long time. The description on the website states that the cabins were recently renovated, but it is clearly incorrect, as they are in serious need of maintenance. The photos do not match the accommodations at all. The cabins reek of mold and mildew. The carpeting is dirty and old, and for some reason there is carpet in the bathrooms (more mildew). The air conditioners were practically clogged with dust, and there was dust on the walls and on the ceilings. The A/C barely put out enough air and took a long time to cool the cabins. The cabins felt very rickety and unsafe, especially the decks. Locks on doors were flimsy. There was a hole in the wall of one of the cabins we rented. Showers did not work right and the bathtubs did not drain well. The beds were small and uncomfortable. While there were screens on the windows, there were such large gaps in the frames that bugs could easily get in; as a result, the cabins were full of them (ranging from moths to spiders to mosquitoes and flies). There are multiple unfinished or ruined buildings on the property. The pond closest to the cabins is almost dry and is more like a swamp that breeds mosquitoes. The other pond is a bit bigger, but very overgrown and dirty. To add insult to injury, Kyle, the man assigned to take care of the cabins during our stay appeared to be under the influence of drugs for the majority of the time and behaved unprofessionally towards me and my friends, at one point walking out on the deck of his cabin with no clothes on while we were having dinner. Mansfield Woods Vacation Cabins is among the worst establishments I've ever stayed at. I would never again stay there, and advise others to stay away as well. I lodged multiple complaints against Mansfield Woods with the state agencies.

Our cabin was quiet, rustic and provide necessary items: microwave, coffee maker, fridge for enjoying a leisurely morning start. Hope to go back sometime. The drive on Hwy. 5 from Lebanon south is just delightful!
