Happened to be at Pink Sugar Pastries fueling my soul and decided to check these guys out. I've head amazing things about this liquor store and the annual tastings that everyone raves about so I was super curious. From the outside, you'd neeeeeever be able to tell the huge variety and selection that they have in there. I'm like is it me or does everything feel like it's continuously on sale? There are specials literally all over. Even what isn't on sale is already a little lower than most places. They don't raise the prices to then make it seem like you got a deal lol, I've seen that at a few spots. Really nice workers, friendly, willing to help but also willing to let you do your thing and just browse. It's always funny trying to get familiar with a new (to you) liquor store and figuring out the layout and just the whole awareness of not knowing where things are. You look like a total noob. The staff here is wonderful and always ready to help and recommend things. If you're like me, there's days I want what I know and have tried and other days that I'm open to trying something new and different. This last time I did just that. He then asked "would you like me to get it?" The item was there next time I stopped in, and considerably less expensive than I was used to paying. I'm a big vodka guy, and every single vodka Ralph has recommended has become on that I buy regularly. All of the staff are very friendly, and I make it a point to hang out and talk if it's not busy. Unlike many stores, Ralph knows all of the products intimately. Not just wine like most places. Along with all f his vodka recommendations, he knows the grain the vodka is distilled from, and can compare the taste to other popular brands, too. All of the above applies to bourbons that he's recommended. I'm not a huge wine enthusiast, but the few I've tried based upon his recommendations have been exactly what he described.

I just left there about 10 minutes ago, and the selection isn't what it used to be. Everything is IPA, weird craft flavors or fancy fruity style beers or your typical watered down beer that you used to drink in college on a budget. Or what you can find in grocery stores but with a higher price tag. I do appreciate the good cider selection, however, the prices are just out of control. They don't update the sticker prices on the six packs and when checking out, I was surprised that it was several dollars more than what I had anticipated on paying. When I asked the cashier if he would be willing to honor the price on the sticker, he flatly said no. I get times are tough right now, but a little customer service goes a long way. If you're not doing your end of the bargain to update your inventory and prices, then maybe don't mark the cans at all so that customers can confirm the price at the counter before buying.
