They have a really great selection of wines and liquor. They have a small fridge section of already chilled wines. They do wine and liquor tasting samples sometimes which I never do because who wants alcohol on their breath driving away from a liquor store. Wish they had better prices but it's manageable and easily accessible from the highway read more

This is my favorite depot in the area even more then that Home Depot place! You wanna know why? Cause this place gets me drunk. They have very affordable prices. My mom and I came to this store to check out the bourbon selection. She was buying me a gift and was in town to visit me and my wife. Shortly into our visit, two ladies walked by us rather quickly and pushed my mom back into a shelf. Her purse grabbed a bottle of Grappa and it fell down. Accidents happen. Next thing you know, an older man, assumed to work there, told us it would be cleaned up and that was it. So, the manager in me, working for a local upscale restaurant, thinks, "Well, my mom and I are wearing sandals and a glass bottle broke on our feet. Shouldn't anyone be concerned for our safety?" The answer is no. Not one person cared. After perusing their limited bourbon/whiskey selection, more details in the end of this complaint, we decided to get a rye whiskey and wheated bourbon. After we finished paying for the two bottles, one man decided to tell us we need to take care of the broken bottle. Mind you, we were in the store for 15 minutes already and not one person came to talk about the accident prior to our purchase. Again, the manager in me thinks we will pay the cost of the bottle and take our responsibility. No. The man decided to tell us since we broke the bottle, it is not their responsibility or liability for the liquor. Instead of working out a deal that benefits both parties, he decided we must pay the bottle MSRP/full price. It was an accident and they neglected our safety. This is a great example of terrible customer service. I feel sorry for the man checking us out because I could see in his face he was in the awkward position of charging us full price for that bottle of Grappa. I would encourage the owner to take a look back at your cameras. Accidents happen and we were ready to work out a deal for the accident. We also understand you may have policies in place as well. Those were not discussed with us either. My suggestion, if you, the owner, are willing to listen, would be to fully communicate with the customer before forcing a terrible situation on your customer. My wife and I have placed you on our list- the never shop list. Now, your bourbon selection. Not bad. Not good either. If you want to have a bourbon/whiskey room, I suggest doing some reading on the history of Kentucky bourbon. Your selection was polarized. I am glad to see Maple Hill, but upset to see Jack Daniels black in the room. I would suggest looking into Pappy 12yr, Parkers Heritage, Michter's, Rowan's, and maybe some Old Kentucky. Real bourbon and whiskey drinkers would appreciate a more sensible room if it had good bottles in the $70-150/bottle range, instead of $30-50 and $250-$2500 range. Good luck with future ventures as I will avoid your business, and tell others to do so as well. Buyers beware, their prices are also 10-15% over other liquor shops in the area. read more

Read the full review ... We went here for the first time today, it was a Sunday. The gentleman working there was extremely friendly, offered us help and was knowledgeable. Upon check out we had two bottles of ketel one and a bottle of wine, when the total was over $100 we realized the shelves had been mismarked- we opted for the larger bottle of ketel and put the small ones back. Then we left. 30 min later we were home and ready to make a drink except that the bottle of ketel one was NOT SEALED !!! I immediately called the store and a woman answered , I explained that we had just been there and we're shocked to find the bottle had a broken seal - she replied "are you planning on coming back tonight because I don't think I'm authorized to refund you, there's no way of knowing if it was open before or after you left the store.... At this point I was a little upset that there was no sound of surprise on her end -- nor an apology.. after arguing she told me to come back and exchange it. I did go back and get a new bottle (of course checking the seal). Still no apology or any emotion at all....The issue was rectified but I just got a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully nobody sees that open bottle on the shelf tomorrow..maybe it was a fluke but either way not sure if we will be back. read more

Wednesday, 8/16 at 6:00pm. Whoever you have working at this place didn't even have a hello, and thank you or a good bye. Not a single word or sound spoken. No appreciation for someone choosing the place to make a purchase. Drives me crazy at any place I go regardless of how much I like it. Won't be back for some time because simple customer courtesy counts. UPDATE: Just after posting this review, Ryan, the store owner, contacted me directly. He was apologetic and provided the explanation of their policy to greet all customers. Something I've actually grown accustomed to when visiting the store, which made the lack of interaction that much more obvious my past visit. I appreciate the immediate response and the care Ryan took to assure me that I am appreciated as his customer. Thank you Ryan! I can't say enough about this place. The big selection and great prices are just the beginning. My sister and I went there for tequila and we were helped by this extremely nice man . We needed help picking one out and we could not believe how honest he was . Telling us you don't have to spend a fortune to get a good bottle. Ended up he was the owner ! Even though I live about 25 minutes away , this is my new favorite liquor store and I will make the trip every time ! Amazing service !! read more

I'm sorry I have to give this store even 1 star. They don't even deserve that!!! I live in Texas and if someone has to pay for an accident in the store that has to be posted in the store. After visiting with my son two girls came barreling up the aisle causing me to have to step back out of their way. When that happened a bottle of grappa was knocked off the shelf. The two girls paid for their $15.00 bottle without a word being said to them of the bottle falling. ACTUALLY NO ONE EVER CAME AND CLEANED UP THE GLASS AND LIQUID FROM THE FLOOR UNTIL WE WERE LEAVING. The accident was no more my fault than the 2 girls who were allowed to leave the store. After another 30 minutes in the store with no one saying a word to me or my son about paying for the bottle my son made his choice and we went to the register. They allowed us to ring up the 2 bottles of overly priced bourbon without saying a word. But by then they had my credit card and the two bottles of bourbon. When my son reached for the 2 bottles of bourbon they said oh by the way you have to pay for the bottle that fell off the shelf. WHAT. WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT? Oh that's right it doesn't. I of course made them refund the two bourbons THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE. The fact that they waited for a full 30 minutes and never said a word about paying speaks volumes. Add to that they waited until after they rang up the 2 bottles of bourbon. Add that they had possession of the bourbon-they did not give it to us. They THEN SAID WE HAD TO PAY. They knew they already had their money plus extra money. By the way. We went to another store and the same bottles of bourbon were at least 20% cheaper. Some of the other items we looked at were 25% cheaper. That is a lot of money to pay for convenience and rude serve. read more

This is a great place! There is a huge selection and competitive pricing with similar stores in the area. Located in a shopping plaza so very good parking. They seem to be doing more with tastings for all types of alcohol which is great when you are looking for something new. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. On our last trip, Alyssa was very helpful in making recommendations. read more
