Yesterday the crew was here for the recent job of removing concrete landing step ( which started to fall apart during the winter) and replacing it with a granite step. Renato and his crew came out to do a small job, installing a new paver walkway and properly edging…read morea pre-existing walkway that was installed incorrectly by the original builder. While discussing the job with Renato he noted that the original builder had also installed one paver that was a different color than the others and offered to fix it while they re-did the edging (great!). Towards the end of the job I went out to take a look and noticed that the crew had incorrectly installed the edging pavers in an intermediate section of the walkway. Once informed they remediated the issue (again, great!). However, it appears as though when they did so, they accidentally reinstalled the mis-colored paver. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until the next day because they had to soak the entire walkway with water in order for the crushed stone to set, and so all of the pavers were wet and dark. Mistakes happen, I get it. But the reason for the 2 star review isn't that the mistake was made - it was how it was how Renato handled it (or didn't). Over the ensuing three weeks I texted Renato on three different occasions about the issue, asking him to have a crew return and resolve it. He didn't respond to any of my messages. Unfortunately my experience was similar to one of the other reviewers - the quality of the work was good, but the service provided when confronted with a quality issue was nonexistent.

Suffice to say, he has not honored his warranty in any way, shape or form. He is constantly setting up different shell companies but doing the same sort of con job against consumers. In Massachusetts he has operated as Creative Drives and Patios, Ground Force Masonry, Norton Masonry and Construction, Delaney Paving & Masonry, among others. Stay away from John Delaney and whatever company he is operating under - he and his companies are a scam.

His domain name was also just created a couple of months ago. Interestingly, I also asked for a Certificate of Insurance and he said his "agent was on vacation". The "office" of the paving company is listed in a Class A building on Rt. 9. When I visited, so such business existed - there was a doctor's office. Stay very far away, don't also become a victim.
