We hired Innovative to redo our front mulch beds. We ended up paying $4k for dead bushes and flowers. We addressed our concerns shortly after and we were told they needed time to root and take... it's been almost 3 years and everything that was planted never blossomed. Lots of great reviews for previous owner which is a reason we contracted with them, We learned shortly after the job started that there was a new owner. We did not have a good experience to loam & seed, our entire lawn as well as get our irrigation system up & running properly with current owner. Would definitely not recommend. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Joe and his team were wonderful through the hardscaping and landscaping portions of the service he provided to us - but once his team started the lawn services things turned into a mess. He was unreachable, he charged us for fertilizer services which he flat out lied to me about being performed (we have cameras on our house...) - and when we were charged for all of these things he was 100% unable to reach (calls, texts, emails - dozens of them). The price is certainly right, but the quality of service was subpar in my opinion. Maybe there is an A team, but I got the C team for sure. They cut down two lilac bushes I planted, rather than weed around them. They were clearly not weeds. They caused damage to our septic pipe by being careless, and mowed right over a strawberry bush we planted- that we even put stones around to mark it! They ultimately didn't work out for us. We found someone in the area who mows our yard for less, and he pays attention to our existing landscaping. read more

Seriously, I have been through at least three botched landscaping jobs so I am naturally cautious of good-natured hucksters or crews with a good sales pitch but little follow through. Joe is amazing. Specifically the things I was impressed with: 1. The level of personal attention he gave my job. From the very specific/detailed estimate to the email confirmations and questions. He was able to take both a text message and email message promptly (that helps me since often I can't get to the phone). He confirmed with me the day before exactly what he was going to accomplish and when I came home the next day what I saw really exceeded my expectations! 2. He didn't double back on his estimate or try to up-sell me on services I didn't need. When I said I only wanted a mow once a month (not once a week) that's all he quoted me for -- all with a smile. He followed my instructions explicitly even while cautioning me about my choices for hardscape materials. I appreciate that I get his professional opinion without the push and the "lady, I know what's best" attitude I seem to get so often. 3. He is a genuinely nice person and so are his associates. I can tell he really just wants to do a good, honest job and he quotes a very reasonable price compared to other quotes I've received. Which is why I almost expected a half-baked job. But no, it made me feel like not only do I want him to come back, but I've taken the extra effort (which I rarely do) to leave such a detailed recommendation. I can't recommend him highly enough and I'm so happy that I have now found my go-to landscaping company! read more

Bought a house a few years ago, and the lawn and landscaping were in terrible shape. Sprinkler system was all busted. I tried to handle it all myself the first summer but just didn't have time, so I hired Joe. I have found him to be very knowledgeable and honest. And his prices are very reasonable. His crew comes to mow the lawn every two weeks, do spring/fall cleanups, and fertilize a few times a year. They always do an impeccable job. Lawn is looking so much better now. Joe fixed up our sprinkler system and keeps it maintained every year. Bigger jobs: last year I had Joe level a section of our front yard where we'd had trees taken down, and put a lawn. We are very happy with it and are going to have him do the same in our back yard now. We also had Joe redo our long front walkway. They did it right. It looks awesome now. And he was able to reuse the bricks from the old walkway which saved us a money. read more

I made a call and set up an appointment with Joe to have him stop by and look at my landscaping work. (I did that after seeing his reviews at Yelp) It was 8/21 5 pm and I took off early, went through the traffic, and showed up on time. But nobody showed up. Nobody answered the phone. Joe and his crew did an awesome job fixing my yard after having trees removed, installing an irrigation system and adding a walkway to my front steps. He was extremely responsive to my email communication. Additionally he got the job done within a week of quote approval. Complete installation was done within three days. Adson and his crew did a phenomenal job on our yard for less than half the price of our first quote. Adson is responsive and respectful and provides written estimates that he sticks to. I was so impressed with the work they did in our yard! They actually made us love our home again. They also fixed a faulty installation of our front step and were willing to listen to us to find a creative and inexpensive solution to solve the real problem instead of just trying to sell us something bigger. I'll add that they are truly nice people. They also do our snow plowing in the winter and just tonight when I found myself in a sticky situation with my husband out of town during a storm and no one to look after my little one, I called Adson to see if they could help me out and shovel out our front door. (That's not part of our arrangement) He didn't even hesitate and said that they would take care of it, no problem at all. If you find some bad reviews out there online you should know that there were two companies with similar names but that are apparently run/owned by two very different people. We worried at first but we couldn't imagine that after chatting with Adson that he was the guy described in those other reviews. Turns out he isn't! There is literally some other person/company. But this year he claimed to have lost my address and kept being a no-show, despite promises to do the job "next week" again and again.
