Walked in and we had two beds, a great view of the mountains, plenty of towels for two people, soap and shampoo all provided. The bathroom had huge windows that opened to allow the air in and the steam out. The shower and vanity looked newly installed or renovated. The bed was comfortable but a bit worn. They had lamps which added outlets to the desktop area and a place to hang coats. The elevator worked quickly and everyone from front desk staff to the guy mopping the floors was nice. For a hostel they had many welcome amenities that you wont find at more expensive hotels. They had a reading room, ice machine, kitchen and TV room on level one. The huge kitchen area had 4 fridges lined up so you can store your perishables as well as oven and stoves to cook on. This place is a 6 min walk to the bustling downtown area and the Dancing Sasquatch. You see two or 3 brew pubs and McDs before getting to the Dancing Sasquatch. We thought about driving but its a headache parking in Banff so we just walked. Glad we did bc it was closer than we thought. Not sure what other people paid, but for $99 CAD it was a deal.

I have been past this area many times, but didn't realize that a large facility was there for events such as this. It's located east of Canmore and is only about an hour drive from downtown Calgary. The buffet dinner was really quite good, compared to some wedding buffets that I've been to! Some of the highlights were the grilled cedar plank salmon and the mediterranean fatoush salad (cucumber, red onion, olives, tomatoes, chick peas and thinly sliced hearts of Romaine in an olive oil and lemon vinaigrette). Where this experience stood apart was with the excellent service that we received. Someone was always around when we needed something, and immediately went above and beyond to make us happy. I was helping decorate the cake in between the ceremony and reception. We had forgotten to take the icing out of the fridge before the ceremony, and I thought we were going to be stuck trying to ice the cake with cold, stiff icing. Instead, the chef jumped in and helped us by heating it in his large industrial sized warmer. Crisis averted!! The staff for the remainder of the evening stopped by each table frequently to see if anything was needed. They did a great job. The room rates weren't cheap but they certainly weren't too outrageous either (~$170 plus tax per night). The rooms were clean and functional, although we didn't spend much time there with all of the wedding festivities that were going on. For guests wanting to save some money (or have a more unique experience), there were also tipis available. Many guests also brought trailers and just camped for the weekend. We had a great time, and I would look forward to attending another wedding at this venue.

The hotel even upgraded our suite without us asking! And the room was very nice and spacious and my husband and I loved the dual headed shower. The tall blonde gentleman at the desk was very helpful in answering all questions we had and even gave us tips to help navigate things better. We will definitely be back and will stay here again.

The codes to get into the condo and the elevator codes were tricky (and in the case of the elevator, annoying), but there is a hot tub on the 4th floor (you sign up for a time). The space, was clean, well stocked and spacious. There was a deck with a grill if needed. Overall, this was a great spot for what we needed. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Like most folks we wre gone more than we were there as there is so much to see!

The unit we were assigned was very late-80's... very old furnishings, a bubble screen "PRIMA" tv, basic cable, 2 single beds in the den, 1 DOUBLE bed in the master bedroom, very dated bathroom, dinged up walls/furniture, and perhaps the ugliest bedroom furniture I've ever seen. Compared to the accommodations at Copperstone Resort, for instance, this was no luxury condo. Unless it was your grandmother who was assessing it's luxuriousness. That being said, the condo was clean (throw cushions on the couch aside) and quite comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, towels, basic spices, etc. There was a bbq on the deck and all the tools you'd need to have a great bbq supper. For traveling with young children, this place is ideal... they can be tucked into bed and the adults can still say up chatting and watching the game without disturbing them. The price for the space you get is fair, especially for the area. However management really needs to ensure each unit that is rented is more modern before they advertise the entire complex under the "luxury accommodation" umbrella.

I rented from Mahkbool, he was very informative and made sure they he was always available for contact if I needed him. I loved how clean the space was, the design was modern, yet very homey. Kitchen space by far was my favorite area. Each suite also had their own balcony! Although the #1 thing I loved the most of the entire stay was the black out curtains they have around the suite to ensure no light gets in (I have sensitive eyes so sleeping at new places was/is always a problem). Even morning time still felt dark so waking up wasn't so harsh nor was I disturbed whilst sleeping. The suite also comes with washer and dryer and all the basic necessities were provided (towels, toothpaste, detergent pods, paper towel, etc.). It made staying the long weekend very convenient and easy. Not to mention they're only 1-2 hours away from the main hiking areas of Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. The suite also came with underground parking (code will be provided for garage door) and access to the communal BBQ grill, fitness room and hot tub use (FAVE). The resort overall was also very quiet, which I really liked as well. Definitely would come back to stay here again!
