Today their technology was struggling to get imaging shared with the doctor. It was very nice how the front desk attendant communicated with us, coming out to the lobby to give updates. My technician was so kind and empathetic to why I was there. The doctor also came by to visit with me and explain my scans. I didn't have many questions but was given plenty of space to ask them. The space is also clean and welcoming, and I leave each time thankful this is where I come for health updates.

One thing that disturbed me while I was there was the amount of foul language that was being used and that they referred to women as someone men should just use. The doctor said they are just meant to be F***ed. I should have walked out at that point, but a nurse with a better attitude sold me on injections, and I chose the cheapest package. Why they make you pay in full up front now seems to make sense or men probably would not return. After I left the appointment I noticed some discomfort, not painful, but enough to not being able to concentrate at work. I called them back, but they basically told me to take a warm bath and take a decongestant. ( I can't take decongestants, because I have side effects from it and I don't have time in my busy day to take a bath) I decided to talk to my physician and was told I should not be taking these shots based on how it affects me. Since then I have called many times to ask for a refund(minus what they sent me home with)but they keep telling me that I need to speak with the office manager. Every time I call, I am told he is in a meeting. It is amazing how many meetings they appear to have there. I finally had a doctor there call me to discuss my discomfort and he said he can change the dose, but I told him that a recent change in medication actually solved my problem. He said that was great and he would inform the manager to call me for a refund. I never received a call, and every time I call, the manger is in a meeting. I don't know if the person answering the phone changed but the spelling of the managers name miraculously changed after about a year of calling. I was not expecting a full refund, but should not have to pay for a product I never received. I have read other reviews stating that getting a refund is near to impossible. Now I feel that I should let as many other people know about my experience and I highly recommend you go to a normal physicians office. I will also be posting this review on as many websites as I can including the Better Business Bureau and will also be sharing with the investigative news stations that help people from being scammed and the board that governs doctors. A simple refund and apology would have prevented all this and I would have then left a good review even though the product was not meant for me.

I know, that sounds weird, but most VA hospitals kind of run and look similar. Entering the grounds is fairly simple. However, the tricky part here is finding a close enough parking spot without having to walk a mile. The parking overall is a mess, but what makes it worse is how the lots are set up and how many one ways there are within each parking area. Each day that I arrived here, I would drive around ten to twenty minutes until I found an actually spot within a decent walking distance. There are two entrances here, East and West. Most people seem to park near and enter at the West entrance. Something to keep in mind, if you use the entrance you are entering on the basement level. But that's if you are here to visit the main building as there are many outlying buildings that I have no idea what is in them. In the main building you can get wherever you need and if you do not know where you are going, you can stop by the information desk and they will direct you to where you need to be within seconds. This whole place is beautiful. The grounds are amazing and good for walking. But, very soon, a lot of what is here will be transferring to the new facility that is nearly complete. So, if it is like other areas, they will abandon a perfectly good piece of land for "greener" pastures and let this sit to rot. Greener here, means right next to the Interstate.

Being an animal bite I deliberately checked the website to make sure they treated them. The website did list animal bites. I made an appointment, which had to be the next day as they were booked. Only to find out when we get there that they could not treat cat bites because they are "iffy". If this is the case, then why not state this exception on the website? We ended up at the ER litterally for 5 hours, which we could have taken care of the day before had they just stated that cat bites could not be treated
