When I set up the appointment time I requested the paperwork be sent to me in advance. It arrived the week prior to my appointment so I could fill it out at my convenience. The cover letter gave clear directions for where exactly the KORT facility was located at. Since it said it was in the Kroger Shopping Center next to Discount Tires and in front of Petco I didn't have to read street signs or strain to find addresses. The building was clearly marked from the front with large green KORT signage. When entering I told the receptionist that I had an appointment for an EMG and had brought completed paperwork with me. The receptionist was very personable and welcomed my packet of papers. She had me sign an insurance estimate of patient responsibility that she had already run. That was all there was to the registration. At my appointment time a nice young man came to the waiting area and greeted me by name. Chris was the Physical therapist that was going to conduct my EMG. He was very thorough in explaining the test, going over my medical history, and performing all aspects of the procedure. He made sure I was comfortable during the different parts of the test. He definitely deserves a five star review! I would not hesitate to come here again if another EMG was needed. By what I saw of the facility I think it is probably an outstanding place to come for physical therapy.

Would be five stars if this location (and the other locations) didn't take almost three months to get in for an evaluation after surgery. I had to begin at this location, thirty-five minutes from my home, in order to get transferred to another location five minutes away. The soft tissue manipulation is what those of us need after surgery (and even without). I'm grateful when rehab doesn't consist of modalities (tens unit, etc) and instead spends time working the muscular system and strength building. Once you get in months after scheduling an evaluation, be persistent with calling so you can get in for appointments. I received severe surgery and needed to learn how to walk again, and going weeks without rehab when needed caused me to not walk as soon as I should have. The issue is across all Frazier Rehab locations, though. While they do put surgery patients in top priority, that's how long it took for top priority, eek. I was only able to get in once a week (when needing twice) for over a month. However, by being persistent, I've been able to get in twice a week by calling and getting into canceled slots. Top notch care, and the only place I will visit for rehab.

He listened without judgement and took my thoughts and complaints seriously. Sometimes I felt silly mentioning something, but he always made me feel really listened to. Ethan also did techniques that were holistic rather than just at the area of my pain. Your body is all connected and he obviously knew what he was doing. We also did dry needling which was excellent. Let me start by saying this is one of the most welcoming places I have ever been in. All the staff members are nice and friendly to you even if you are not their client. I am greeted at the desk checked in wash my hands temp taken and wait less than three minutes for my therapist. Even with the mask on I can tell she is smiling when greeting me. He used to work with Kleinert & Kutz then with some other awesome orthos then he was on his own for a few years. Sadly they put him in a way out of the way clinic so I drive from Oldham County all the way to see him and do so gladly since I trust his judgement and his care. I am in healthcare and I am super picky about whom I will see or let my family see. Bob is definitely one of the best in Louisville!
