This branch is located in quite an old building, like a good number of Post Offices are, the only entrance is up a few steps, which is even used to transport mail in and out as the store does not have a ramp, it has a wheelchair button for access, however, this didn't appear to be working on my visit. The store inside seemed a bit messy and other than having one or two self-service machines, the queuing system wasn't handled fairly well. The staff situation was a little weird, they seemed kind yet unhelpful, perhaps this was an issue with their training which was a shame. For the main reasons of access, overall feel etc, I sadly feel this Post Office branch really lets the whole Post Office brand down as a whole, and sadly deserves a single one-star rating.

I have used this post office many times and I can trust them to provide me with the correct service. There are usually two clerks available and of course there is usually a substantial queue on a Monday or during weekday lunchtimes, but that's true of all Post offices isn't it? The Post Office itself is located in a newsagents, so it can feel quite cramped when you are queuing there. I am not too bothered about this because this Post Office is in a convenient location for me.

He then questioned whether I had confirmation that the package had been received. I handed him the card and also told him I had been to the parcelforce depot an hour earlier and they had directed me here. He then went to look for the parcel and couldn't find it. He then told me to call customer services. I told him I was at the depot an hour ago and it was only then that he offered to help. I'm still standing here and I still don't have my parcel... Story to be continued :/ They finally came through with the goods! Apparently this has never happened to him in all the years he's worked there! And I'm happy because I have my Halloween costume

Started…read morean online business 7 and 1/2 years ago so have been using the postal service on a weekly basis. Have never had anything but a prompt and efficient service from the amazing hard working staff team who are there under very challenging circumstances but always conduct themselves in a professional manner with humour and great competence. Feel very grateful and lucky to have such a place to use within my local community and just a 5 minute walk up the hill. Job well done.

Really, truly, open until 11pm 6 days a week (except the first Wednesday of the month, watch out for that). As someone who leaves things to the last minute and then needs a postmark for a particular date, the real-life, staffed post office counter inside Thornton's Budgens is a LIFESAVER. Please never change. Incidentally, Thornton's Budgens itself looks pretty nice, and hey, a place to buy groceries that's open late too!

After spending some time searching the internet and discovering so many people asking if there are any post offices in London open over the weekends, I stumbled upon a business listing for Belsize Park Post Office, which amazingly listed very long opening hours, which I thought must have been a mistake, however, I phoned them up and they confirmed that they are indeed open every Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening, and they are also open every Sunday afternoon. Not only that, they are also open late in the evening every week night. So I made my way to Belsize Park and bought a tax disc for my car, which I was pretty chuffed about. This is only a small post office branch located inside a Budgens supermarket store so it's strange that it seems to be the only post office in London that has such long opening times. It's not exactly local to me but I will certainly go there again if I need to use a post office late in the evening or at the weekend. It's a shame more post offices aren't open later longer! Belsize Park Post Office opening times are... Monday-Saturday: 7am-11pm Sunday: 12pm-6pm They close at 6pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
