Well, there's a great alternative, you can have someone come to your home and care for your pets, walk them and feed them while you're out of town and they'll have all of the comforts of your own home instead of a small cage. We use Jennifer for our golden retriever whenever we have to head out of town and she's great about getting him out for walks and spending some QT with him. She's insured and bonded as well and can do a range of pets. Give Tails to Scales a call instead of sending your pets to mini jail cells! They'll thank you when you get back!

We were impressed with our visit…read moreand thought it would be a good, safe place to leave our dogs. when we returned to pick up our dogs they were very dirty and smelt so bad we had to leave the windows open on the drive home. the most troubling thing was our dogs had severe sneezing for about 48 hours upon returning home. We found out they had been feed yogurt with their food without consulting us first. They continue to be sick (vomiting, diarrhea). Now several weeks after their stay the vet bills continue to grow as we try to get them healthy. I would not recommend this kennel, Kevin seemed nice enough, but I was disappointed in how our dogs were taken care of.

I recently called them because I my 13lb dog had eaten a raisin. I wanted to know if I should be concerned. I was told to check with poison control. I then asked if there was a number that they could provide. I was told to go online and Google it. Seriously?? A vet can't provide me information regarding a dog eating a raisin?? Either they didn't know or didn't want to be bothered. Either way, not good.
