How could a mere introduction to the ancient discipline of Qigong relieve pain, and give me the best experience of breathing I'd had in years. This may sound strange (Breathing? Really?) but I assure you it's true. I think I had forgotten how to breathe some years back, and it's been transformative to get that right again. I won't enumerate all the great outcomes. I do remain slightly mystified as to how something as subtle and quiet as this Qigong could have such far-reaching effects. Only wish I had started sooner. There are no forms to complete before massage and with plenty of staff no one asked if I prefer male or female masseuse. When entering the room no one tells you face up or down and on the massage table very thin white sheet left on the table to cover your body. Masseuse never ask where is sore but he did ask halfway through how was the pressure. You definitely get what you pay for as I never had a body massage completely skip my shoulders and use elbows the entire time. On the way out they give you a bottled water which is nice. This was not the relaxing experience I was hoping for.
