My husband and I always drive by this place on our way to the Ranch 99 plaza. I googled them and saw that they provided head spa so I have been wanting to give it a try. Finally, I got to go! It was 1/2 of this year and I got their scalp detox treatment while my husband got a massage. I loved my experience! Tina was the nice lady who did my session. She was so easy to talk to and had a lot of knowledge regarding my hair health. She gave me tips on everything and I have been following her advice ever since! We loved our experience so much that we came back again for valentine's day and we both got the massage this time around. Summer did my massage and it was definitely a relaxing massage. Although she did focus a lot on my upper spine area so it definitely was a bit sore after, but partly my fault for not speaking up. Overall, this place is amazing. I will be back to try more of the different services they offer. Staff is great. Clean lobby and space. There is a changing room with lockers, robes and slippers. They have 2-3 private massage rooms. There are 4 scalp treatment beds side by side, but still plenty of space on one side and the other side are for facials (?) I'm assuming. After our massages, they gave us 2 $10 gift certificates and 2 boxes of chocolates. It was so sweet! It was pouring rain that day and I saw a staff walk out some of the customers with an umbrella to their car, which I thought was so thoughtful! The diffuser in particular would have made a big difference for my hair type. The scalp analysis seemed interesting at first, but it felt more like a gimmick. My scalp has been inflamed lately due to the winter, yet I was told my analysis came back "perfect" with zero dandruff. That didn't align with what I've been experiencing, which made the whole consultation feel surface-level rather than personalized. Overall, I think these places gain popularity because of TikTok and social media aesthetics, but the actual service quality just isn't there. For me, it's a one-and-done experience. warning! crooks!i got a nice gift card from my daughter to use here. This place foces you to make a credit card deposit before you can even book a service. So I booked 2 services and had to pay $40 online to make the appointment. I assumed they would reimburse me since I had a 150 dollar gift card and the two services were LESS than 150. No, they said, you've got $32 left on your account do you want to use as a tip? I said yes thinking they meant the gift card amount of $150. Hut they just kept my "$40 deposit". pretty tricky. I didn't find out until I was going over my credit card statement. I had to call to get my $40 back! I was also very unimpressed with the lack of communication throughout the services. And the back massage made me sore for days even after I told her less pressure twice. The facial had nothing that smelled good. That was disappointing! Go somewhere else is my advice! read more

I wish I can wash my hair as well as them! The whole appointment for my hair spa took about an hour. I opted for the "Scalp Detox" treatment, which included a scalp assessment (using a camera), steaming of my scalp, wash, conditioning, high frequency scalp treatment, blow dry, and hair oil. After the treatment, you'll go over your scalp health, and they use the camera for you to see the results! Overall, I had such a good experience! First thing was the scalp analysis, which we both really enjoyed - there's 5 diff tests, that shows you a picture & a point/scale measure of where your hair/scalp ranges. Then they take you to the locker room, where you have a cute little silk pullover wrap to change into & slippers. We each received 2 services each, we both did the Anti-Aging scalp treatment. While we both loved it, it def is more for hair that needs extra love, more scrubbing & brushing of the hair along with scalp massage, shoulders, & neck. Wonderful service & comes with blow dry/style at the end - next time we want to try the Jasmine treatment! During the blowout, they bring you sliced oranges & grapefruit, with assorted nuts, with your choice of water/tea, mini wafer cookies & breath mint! Soooo cute & really enjoyed this little treat My friend received 1hr foot massage/scrub, she really enjoyed it, would've liked alittle deeper pressure on the heels, overall great service. I received the Eye acupressure (30 mins) while the service was amazing, & would've liked alittle get again - I do wish there was more focus on solely the eyes! We came in for the couples head spa and had selected our providers based on yelp recommendations but neither one of us got the provider we were scheduled with. My husband got lucky and got Sydney who did his anti aging head treatment. First they did his scalp analysis and told him to upgrade from the detox to the anti aging treatment and so we both upgraded. He enjoyed his service but I wasn't impressed. Summer did mine and her entire routine was lackluster and very light touch. Don't upgrade with her because she doesn't do a massage but just lightly spreads the scalp foam. My biggest concern was their inability to dry and style my shoulder length hair. I think this place is more for guys or people which short hair because they're unable to handle long hair girlies. Btw Aoki head spa in Plano is fabulous and those who want a more substantial service and attention should check it out. read more
