It's also great that Manhattan Prep offers a post exam assessment if you don't meet your score goals so you know what to focus on to prepare for the next exam. After a few weeks of attempting to study for the test on my own, I made the same choice many in my position do, and I reluctantly signed up for a very expensive class. Ultimately, this turned out to be a great decision. The Good: James, the Atlanta instructor, is why this review gets five stars. He is fantastic. He teaches the required curriculum, but then he goes beyond that and helps students understand the test, the best guessing strategies, and even those pesky math fundamentals that I have not used since high school. What I feel set this class apart from experiences my peers have had with other companies, is that James was always available. Even 4 months after the class, when I it was Steve vs. the GMAT, round II, I still got help with my GMAT questions via email. The online tutorial sessions are also fantastic. You can use them to supplement your in class and at home work, and ensure that you stay on track. What I liked most about them, is that they tended to be very personalized. The attendance was low, so it was typically a 3:1 ratio, which provided a very interactive learning environment. My only complaint about the class, is that they don't have a very solid "guarantee." After my first try at the test, I needed more help, and though James was available to answer specific questions, and the online materials were at my finger tips, I would have appreciated a chance to sit for more live classes. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend MGMAT to anyone.

I interviewed over 10 counseling companies and none knew bs/md the way moon prep does. I was very impressed how every counselor on the team has extensive knowledge in this area. Truly, this is what the company is known for. Competitors gave vague answers and I could tell this was not their specialty at all. Bs/md programs are expensive, a private school can cost $75k a year and times that by 7 or 8 years for bs/md program. So I do not recommend trying to skimp on the help your child needs to get into this type of competitive program. It's more than worth the money to hire a professional counselor to guide your child. My son was accepted to numerous bs/md programs and with scholarships too. We are thrilled.

I admit, I wasn't the best at math, and needed help. So glad that I found Power of Yet Tutorial. Ms. Henri is patient and knows how to connect with kids. Additionally, she gave me the option to stay with my daughter as she learned. This was great and put my mind at ease with working with someone new. We recently got progress reports and my daughter moved from a 59% in math, to a 70%! This was after about 3 weeks of tutoring (twice a week). I am going to continue to use Power Of Yet Tutoring because I know that my daughter will continue to make progress. As soon as we arrived, he was matched with a tutor who is an Emory University volunteer. He had a wonderful session and experience. After he completed his tutoring session he was able to play a board game with his peers. He really enjoyed that. I sat and talked to the two founders of this organizatiom who are two nice gentleman that seem to genuinely want toake a difference. I will continie to this service whenever my son needs extra help with a new unit.
