They were rude, didn't want to honor my request to see the dr instead of the nurse practitioner. She insisted only the nurse practitioner had open appointments. Then I suggested to be scheduled for the nurse practitioner because it was an emergency, but in the future I wanted to see the Primary doctor and they said no , we can't do that. If you see the nurse practitioner then you will have to be scheduled with the nurse practitioner for all future appointments. Then I said "that's not what I want. Why won't you honor my request,?," and she replied "well because it's our policy."Those were the exact words to which I replied "well then I guess I'll have to choose another doctor because if you can't honor my request then you don't need my service. I'm paying enough money to see a specialist so that I can't see the Dr. I want. No thank you." Yes sir, horrible service if you ask me. When you pay top dollar and can't even be seen by the doctor you were referred to, then they are not worthy of my business.

Check-in at the…read morefront desk was smooth & Coolsculpting rep had already hooked up the female patient, Carmen who was in the demo. Carmen looked relaxed & didn't seem to be in any discomfort. The rep was thorough & had to show her presentation on her laptop vs. the mounted TV monitor because it wasn't connecting. She answered many questions about the procedure, pros & cons, where you can't have it done as far as on the body & general experiences she's heard as a rep for the past 7 years. The Cooltone demo wasn't as popular with the participants so I was able to try it out on my belly just to see what it feels like. It kinda tickled when it would vibrate which indicated when the lactic acid would be released. The process is supposed to mimic doing a ton of situps when it is activated at it's maximum level. Mine was at a lower level for demo's sake. The Medical Assistant called my name & I got an evaluation. She was helpful, honest, friendly & talked about her personal experiences with the Coolsculpting & how the Elite machine is more advanced than previous versions. She assured me & gave honest feedback when I asked questions. The staff was helpful in general, rooms & front areas were clean.

My dermatologist, Dr. William Parsons at Dermatology Associates of San Antonio saved my life…read more February 10th I went to Texas Med Clinic with a fever of 104.1. My face was swollen, red, burning up, and felt lumpy, The doctor at the clinic gave me more fever reducing pills (Motrin?) and wanted to call me an ambulance. She didn't know what was wrong with me but said I should be in the hospital. I told her my husband was there to take me. After many hours at the ER, they didn't know what was wrong with me. They did blood work and examined my face. First the doctor said it was probably just Rosacea. I worried it might be Lupus because someone has it in my immediate family and he latched on to that as my problem. Basically, he said to go home, keep rotating the Tylenol and Motrin for fever. He prescribed a topical face cream and another prescription to take orally. He said if I kept having fever to go see my regular doctor. The next day I ran fever all day (rotating fever meds) and just slept. Thursday, I was worse. I knew I had to find out what I had, so I'd get well. The medicines the hospital doctor prescribed weren't helping me at all. I had no energy by this time, still running high fever, and swelling and redness on face was even more inflamed. I felt like if I didn't get help soon I'd die. I thought about which doctor I trusted most in my life, and that was my dermatologist, Dr. Parsons. I called his office practically in tears telling them what I was going through. They told me to come in, and Dr. Parsons saw me right away. They had called the hospital and got my blood work results (the same ones the hospital told me were fine). Dr. Parsons looked at my blood work and examined my face, and he told me I had Erysipelas of the face due to bacterial strep infection. What was causing my illness had stumped everyone else, but Dr. Parsons knew immediately what was wrong with me. He put me on Amoxicillin 500MG three times a day. After two days on the meds I had no fever, and my face wasn't burning. I went back for a follow up visit today. Eleven days after I'd originally showed symptoms.. My face is still very pink and doctor says it might be for a few more weeks. If I hadn't gone to him, the strep could have spread and killed me. He saved my life! Cindy Stavinoha

The laser my dermatologist office in the other state used definitely had a painful sting to it, the newer laser Dr. Nunley used was literally pain free. I was shocked. I will definitely be continuing my laser treatments here. I also asked her about other treatments and procedures she performs. I'm excited to go and see her again.

Not sure who Lone Star thinks they are trying to fool, but I have been getting these ED&Cs regularly for over 20 years and have had multiple procedures done all during the same office visit. Not sure what makes his process so different from all the other dermatologists I have seen, but I don't have the time to show up to three different appointments, for him to perform a 20 minute procedure at each one. Nor do I want to pay co-pays for 3 separate office visits. I feel his business practices aren't totally above board.
