I would look somewhere else for your dermatology needs. I require 3x ED&C procedures and the doctor says it is impossible to do all three in one visit. He wants to do them individually, over 3 office visits, and 3x Co-pays. Not sure who Lone Star thinks they are trying to fool, but I have been getting these ED&Cs regularly for over 20 years and have had multiple procedures done all during the same office visit. Not sure what makes his process so different from all the other dermatologists I have seen, but I don't have the time to show up to three different appointments, for him to perform a 20 minute procedure at each one. Nor do I want to pay co-pays for 3 separate office visits. I feel his business practices aren't totally above board. read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Boucher, Mr. Derrick, Delani, Myra and Janely. Great experience and everything was explained in detail. His staff were awesome, friendly and professional. Didn't have to wait long either. I wish I would have known about this Clinic before. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The overall experience has been terrible. The staff are inept and the doctor talks around you like you're not there. My initial round of treatment was messed up by the nurses and was delayed by 30 days. The last visit I was trying to get an insurance mistake fixed. I questioned a charge for a test I had at the previous visit and was threatened with having the police called to escort me from the building. All while a nurse was loudly talking about how terrible she thought I was as a patient. Stay away from this office and doctor. read more

Dr Boucher not only missed accurately diagnosing me by a country mile, accusing me of skin-picking instead of the two verifiable conditions I've since had confirmed by physicians; but he was also extraordinarily rude in the process, as was his staff. The VA referred me to this office for a terrible rash I had on my extremities, upper torso, and face. I filled out the lengthy questionnaire, which I now know could've given the doctor his first, most obvious answer, but it was ignored other than to see if the antipsychotic he prescribed was compatible with my medications. He didn't explain what the medicine really was, and my psychiatrist of one year was glad I hadn't taken this hardcore pill, and told me to chuck it. In fact, she looked at my skin closer than he did! He insisted there was nothing in my pores, and wouldn't let me show him. Dr Boucher was very upset with me on my second visit for not taking a psych drug that my actual psychiatrist instructed me not to take. In fact, he asked why I even consulted her in the matter. Two years later, I'm being treated for hidradenitis superativa, and have been referred to a surgeon. A buddy of mine tried to tell me that it was probably out of control HS. I treated most of my symptoms, ie the bleeding, infected rash, with large doses of biotin supplements, and prescription, topical creams (antibiotic, and numbing) provided by my primary care doctor. My neurological medications cause biotin malabsorption, which explains my skin, hair, and nails being in horrible shape for the first time in my life; insomnia; and severe depression. You'd think that a dermatologist would catch these things. I'm now covered in little scars all over, many of which could've been prevented had the doctor treated me like a person instead of a crazy vet. Even crazy vets have legit skin diseases. I pointed out during the initial examination that some of my symptoms would locally flare after shaving, and plucking. Dr Boucher responded with increasing tone,"Are you *questioning* my diagnosis?!" I said,"No, sir, I'm giving you additional information to make your diagnosis. My skin burns, and turns red after shaping my eyebrows, and shaving my armpits." "Well, it's because you pick at them in the process." Really?! I'm a cosmetologist by trade. I think I know how to depilate without causing harm to anyone's skin, let alone mine. The eyebrows of Mediterranean women covered the down payment on my first car. Don't. Play. Me. I had to BEG Dr Boucher to test a patch of skin on my face that had oozed brown crap the morning of my second appointment. Begged! After he was done, I was told they don't share test results with other doctors. Um, the VA was paying him. My other doctors need a record of the results. Yes, they responded, but that's just the way they do things at that office. Oh, but my consult from the VA was almost up, so if I wanted the test results I'd have to "find a way to pay to see the doctor, just like everyone else," a sentiment delivered with a smile by an otherwise saccharine receptionist. So much for all the "we love our military," flag-waving posters all over the office. They loved my VA funds, and the Medicare money they receive from all of their elderly clients, until it runs out, anyway. I bet they don't say that kind of crap to the elders. I'm severely disabled, and have been waiting over a decade for the proper VA disability rating/income, something that was heavily covered in the news at the time. I don't need anyone, especially my doctor's staff, giving me grief about my poverty. That the government covers my medical care for the mess they made is no ones business, but mine, and Uncle Sam's. read more

Take the negative reviews into consideration. I am a nurse who tried to advocate for herself but was ultimately dismissed and has been suffering since. I visited this doctor in regards to chronic dandruff which was "brushed off" and he ultimately dismissed my concerns for psoriasis. Went to my PCP years later and was diagnosed with psoriasis and referred to rheumatology the same day. I've had to suffer pain as a result of my (degenerative) psoriatic arthritis (a disease that occurs in psoriasis patients) due to being untreated. If only he had actually LISTENED to what I was saying and took it into consideration my quality of life might not be so negatively affected at such a young age. The only positive thing I can honestly say is that his office staff were very professional and kind to me. I'm sure whoever is doing "damage control" for these reviews will state they will reach out or maybe point the finger at myself for one reason or another. read more

Defiantly an issue with the staff that doesn't want to do their job at this location. The PA was nice but the staff whom doesn't like taking monetary payments other than insurance, is lazy and elitist, also probably racist. I didn't see a person of color in the entire place except for the PA and the staff itself is a major headache when it comes to just taking an appointment where you will pay money, like I said they only want insurance. Probably so they can mess that up too...read the other reviews when it comes to them and payments. I would advise highly agains going to this organization until they have fired some of their staff and maybe looks into a different approach to payment methods. read more

In the beginning of my skin illness he had me used creams for a couple of months before taking my direction to get a lab test of my skin problems. Then he prescribed me medication pills which temporary cleared the rash, but not the problem. Finally, he order an extremely expensive injection, Dupixent. which the side affects was a greater risk than my skin illness. After further research with other medical people in the field, I had to discontinue my visits and find me another Doctor. read more

amazing dermatologist who knows exactly what hes doing, he is experienced genuinely concerned about what you have to say and finds way to make you understand and try give you the best treatment plan. the nurses are super friendly and very good at their job and super polite and professional, the front desk girls make sure you explain your insurance to you, and making sure to work around your schedule and your time preferences.i overall had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend making an appointment :) read more
