I was one of the people you see on the commercials dropping into the ocean from a helicopter. I am confronting my fears by getting back into the water. I have seen nothing but professionalism from the staff so far. When dealing with people's lives, sometimes you need to be strict and to keep the rules on track for safety, and sometimes that might come off as being rude. Keep in mind, when anyone or everyone enters the water, those staff are responsible for making sure you leave the way you came in at the end of your time in the water. As far as limited parking for disabled....I am at 100% and to be honest....one of the best parking lots for people with disabilities, even if you don't get the disabled parking up front. I might be slightly bias as they do give a disabled vet discount, but trust me, this place is way better than others I have been to. Corey B

Secondly, as I personally am a master finswimming athlete and I'm constantly training, I'd have liked to train in another occasion, but I saw that no lanes are available (50 m long) for people who have to do 1h+ workout. When at my son's, I have to train myself at Midco, but on a 25 yards pool because the full length of the pool is never available. So, what to say? Midco is a very efficient pool, the only one where serious athletes can do their workouts, but it should be available on 50 metres base in certain days. In Torino (Italy) where I live, there are several pools 50m long and the most important of them, the Swimming Palace, is available 2 days on a 50m basis and 3 on a 25 m. And people who wish to look at trainings or lessons can go to the grandstand which is obviously free.

Just to give full history: We enrolled our two sons. First Semi-Private Lesson (Trial): One of two lessons that had no issues. Second Semi-Private Lesson: We enrolled on the app. We had the confirmation email. We arrived on time. They didn't have us on the schedule for the day. They spent five minutes trying to figure it out. Our kids spent 20 minutes in the water. Third Semi-Private Lesson: There was a "Code Brown" so we needed to make up the class. Not there fault. Fourth Semi-Private Lesson: The second lesson that had no issues. Fifth Semi-Private Lesson (Make-Up): We scheduled on the app for the 9:15am-9:45am class on a Saturday. We received an email that this was our time to go in. We arrived at this time and sent our kids in. There was 5 minutes of confusion in the pool area where Our kids went from one teacher to another and then they were sent out at 9:30am. Apparently although we had confirmation that the class was at 9:15am, their system said 9am in some locations and 9:15am in others. Confused we tried to talk to the older receptionist/admin on duty. She was adamant that we were in the wrong and that we were being rude although she was raising her voice to us. I then showed her the confirmation email which resulted in her changing her tone. In all this confusion, they "graciously" let our kids go back in the pool for another 10 minutes. After which I asked for a printout of their remaining classes and to have them dropped from the program after with the younger receptionist/admin. She did explain that it was a fairly new system and that she could see the discrepancy. What left a real soar spot for me about this whole experience was that nobody apologized for this situation. I was obviously upset about what was happening. Not necessarily at them but about the situation and how they didn't seem to care to help resolve it. They cared more about explaining why it wasn't there fault and making us out to be the bad guys then trying to rectify the issues their system caused. A little customer service to address a poor situation goes along way.

I found myself needing to cut back on bills recently due to life events and found that you can only cancel great life in the same month that you started it. I understand having a year commitment, but making it so that it auto renews for a year every year essentially making it near impossible to leave unless you decide to leave on your yearly anniversary. This is shady as hell and is a pure BS policy. It's sad that for this one reason alone I do not recommend them.

They have everything from weights to a pool, the pool is always staffed for safety, the front desk always has someone to help, they have a marathon coach and program, they offer walk throughs, and will help you with any machine you're curious about! The last star missing was for the outdated facility. Some areas look renovated, but over all the locker rooms, showers, pool area, and general over view is that it hasn't been updated since I visited in 1997 (or before) with my bff and her dad when I was 14.
