I've been to a handful of parks in this area and it's pretty nice. Nestled in a residential area, you'll find Hillcrest Park. I went here to attend the Kiwanis Salmon BBQ at Hillcrest Lodge. The parking lot is a nice design with spacious parking stalls (something I'm not used to since there are small stalls in Seattle). I saw two vending machines full of drinks which was a plus! They had a tennis court that I didn't use and a basketball court behind the lodge. There are two play areas - one for toddlers and one for older kids. I always think this is a good idea since play can get rough as you get older. They're also within sight of the other in case you have kids of different ages. I love the shelter designs! One shelter had a type of firepit that was amazing! If I lived in the area, I'd definitely rent some of these! The Kiwanis Lodge appears to be made of logs and reminds me of everything I thought the Northwest would be. This park is gorgeous and full of tall trees, green grass, and would be a great place to host your family!

A park in the middle of the forest! That's how it feels. A really great place. 2 playgrounds, one for bigger kids and one for littles. They're about 30 yards apart which could be a problem for 1 parent. But it's a beautiful spot. Park built in 2003.

It's a beautiful park. The restroom is closed until the winter. There is a view of a huge barnacle with trees on it.

For many, many years my Mom's family had their family reunion here - the lodge is clean, spacious, has a full kitchen and bathrooms.

We've tried many different programs and instructors, and my daughter just hasn't "taken" to the water. For this reason I canceled my me ever that just signed up for and paid the registration fee (over $500 Which includes the membership fee). So basically I have been told that if I would have contacted them before the 25th of the month, they could have refunded the membership fee but not that we are past it nothing can happen. If ever I would like to sign up again, I would still have to pay $200. This seems like a rip off and my kid come here for his classes and I come here for my beginner classes as well. Seems like it doesn't matter about customer satisfaction for them. They will Include any rule to make sure they are getting the money. Again, I like individuals here. But as business they definitely suck. I would not recommend being a member here cause as long as you are remember, you are fine but other than that it's a loss of money for you. Many would argue that I should have read terms and condition (which is in benefits to the club) but circumstances arise where you are an advocate to yourself. Be careful to becoming their member because it is a rip off, you may not know it just yet.

I'm on a long waiting list, but able to use the outstanding facilities during this period. Did a men's night and was able to get some court time. Turns out I had a mild cardiac event (due to severe dehydration and massive electrolyte imbalance from an extended food poisoning situation) during that evening, and was stupid enough to push through it and not pass out. This translated into bizarre, sluggish play, compromised judgement, and some impairment with coordination and reaction time. I couldn't even keep score for more than a few points, forgot what side I was on, etc. The guys were totally supportive, and accommodating, giving me a ton of time between points. They had no idea anything was wrong other than a comment I made in jest about my heart racing. Anyhow, seeing the facility from the inside - the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean, HUGE, and comfortable. Not to mention very convenient to get to, with tons of parking, and proper spacing between courts, proper lighting, and proper heating. Even the WiFi here was outstanding. =)

Multiple members have complained about their unfair tactics towards members and their court times management etc. This is a club with amazing coaches and other staff except for a couple of people that they will not do anything about. This used to be a family Tennis Club but is no longer. Several of us have complained to their managers (Multiple times) with no response. The way Andrea chases members and family around the courts/property checking on them if they are members or why they just were talking to their kids etc. that then makes members feel harassed and discriminated against. So far we have only seen her do this to people of color. The perception a colored member gets from all this is a very unwelcome experience. I know several members have quit the club due to these unfair tactics.
