Employee not wearing a facial covering.
    Christopher D.

I'll start off by saying I was super excited to visit this place as I've never been to Tulip Town before. Upon arriving, we are ushered into the parking lot by employees not wearing facial coverings. This would turn out to be a theme throughout my visit. Some of the employees were wearing facial coverings properly, some were wearing them around their chin but a lot of them weren't wearing them at all. Walking around in crowds of hundreds of people. They also did not enforce facial coverings for other guests visiting the farm. Several people were just strolling around, maskless, weaving through the crowd. Disgusting, unsafe and disrespectful to everyone else who had the courtesy to wear them. The operated trolleys were packed. People sitting directly next to other patrons. I can't speak for others, but just watching that made me uncomfortable. The tulips themselves were pretty - the entire field was not blooming so a little disappointing. We passed another tulip farm on the way to this one that looked substantially bigger and was in bloom. All in all, definitely not something worth seeing twice. Very disappointing that public safety isn't a concern here. Will be following up with the county health dept. I came in, took some photos of the tulips and left due to patrons & employees not wearing masks. We are still in a pandemic and these crowds were LARGE.

Positives: beautiful and wide variety of tulips. Stands with fresh tulips to take home. Food, drinks, and gifts available for purchase. Outdoor parking on grass, rocks, or dirt. Negatives: cash only! Outdoor portable potties. Limited fields of tulips.

We visited this place today and had the best time! Scheduling our "Experience Pass" online, we were able to choose the day & time slot - Covid protocols are in place! Because of that pass, we learned about the history of this farm, tulips and a new term - "agri-nomics" and the financial impact to the region. Everyone in my group had fun, enjoyed the experience, had a snack and lunch, bought some momentos and (obviously!) got some potted and fresh cut tulips to take home. Note: There are some constraints - no pets allowed. Best to double check beforehand, prepare for any details that _might_ relate to or affect your ability to fully enjoy your visit. Also consider bringing 'mud shoes', boots or an extra pair of shoes to change into after your walks. Remember - This is a working farm! In closing, I found and wanted to share a quote by Luther Burbank that definitely applies to our experiences ... "Flowers always make people better and happier; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the soul." Driving home, I did feel better. As if, indeed my soul, had been refreshed and restored. (That and a carload of smiling faces. )

This was a great place, they have lots of free parking available. They do charge to go in but not very much it was $5 per person. There's food, snacks, bulbs, flowers, paintings and other items for sale. They have face painting and a fun trolley ride. I believe it was $2 for adults. They have a variety of tulips, all very beautiful. There are lots of hunny buckets outside, not my favorite but accessible for the crowd. So far this place has been my favorite during the tulip festival month.

I have always wanted to go to a Tulip farm and glad I had research and found this one on our way to Canada. Entrance fee is $7 and parking is free. Upon entrance there is an area of display art, flowers, and a gift shop. They do serve food here. Fields of tulips were beautiful. Many different colors and variety of tulips. Great photo opportunities outside. There wasn't much people when I went which was great! I suggest going on a week day. I would recommend this place if it is your first Tulip farm.

One of two flower rows in bloom

This place is a joke. There were only two rows of tulips in bloom. The gift shop is bigger than the tulip field and there is only one field. The trolly/tractor ride just rides around their one field which is roughly an acre. Very disappointing...

Overall T(ul)IPS: - Most people take Exit 221, which gets extremely backed up. It's recommended to use Exit 230 instead to avoid the traffic. - Admission is $6 / person, so make sure to bring cash. Visit in the morning if possible! - It's best to wear boots as parking is in a grassy field and the tulip field may be muddy. Boots also provide the best traction as the fields have some uneven terrain. - There are long lines for the Honey Buckets, so it's best to stop somewhere to use the restroom before entering the festival. - If you would rather not walk the full length of the field, there are a couple tractors that will give you a ride ($2). The wait for this got pretty long by the middle of the day. The admission cost is what is keeping me from giving 5-stars. With the large crowds that come each year, I feel that the cost could be decreased a couple dollars. In addition, there's also an indoor showcase of various tulips and some opportunities for shopping (potted plants, herbs, food stands, art, etc.). I visited during opening weekend (April 2) in the morning (11 am) and cars were already lining up along the road in line to pay and park. The weather was fairly nice, so that also contributed to the crowd. However, this was a wonderful experience....definitely worth the trip to see the beautiful fields!

After spending a couple hours in a tulip field, you think I wanna go to another? Ok ok I'll do it. Might as well since we're here right? Tulip town is more like it. It had the cool little stands that made it better than Roozengaarde and you can pick up refreshments right up in the front as you walk in versus way out in a tent. Their fields also seemed more lush and the rolling hills with a distant barn made for a more classic backdrop of what you would imagine a tulip field to look like. I really appreciate the fact that there was no flower warden watching your every move so you can really immerse yourself deep in the fields to capture that colorful shot that's gonna end up on my Myspace backdrop. Somehow people from Tuliptown recognize that visitors automatically knows the rules of conduct and not step inside the flowerbeds. This really made a difference for me since we shot like another 200 pictures here and didn't have as difficult of a time waiting for people to get out of our shot. Side note: The shot I was really interested in was the one of the cows humping in the nearby pasture. This is more exciting to me than shooting a girl in a field of flowers.

    Where are the flowers?

So disappointing. They shouldn't be selling tickets if the flowers aren't in bloom yet. I have enjoyed the tulip festival for years and have never experienced this. There were only about two rows in bloom. What a waste of money and time.

    Tea in tulips

My boyfriend and I had a date here with tea in the fields. It was very intimate and perfect! The staff made the experience welcoming and amazing! Thank you! We plan to bring our pups next year!

    Welcome to Tulip Town?

NO TULIPS IN BLOOM!!! Not for another two weeks from today April 4th. Doesn't say that anywhere on their website. $30 for tickets, 1hr 30min drive, pull up and there are NO flowers in bloom. Thanks for waisting our time, gas, and money. It's great when in bloom, but wait another two weeks.

    Tulips!

If you've never been, I recommend going to the Tulip Festival in Skagit Valley during Spring time. This is not a festival to miss if you like all things flower-like. Will you see hoards of people and an ungodly amount of selfie sticks? Yes! Will you see everyone trying to "get the shot" and feeling compelled yourself to pose for an unusual number of photos? Yes, yes! However, it's worth it if you've never been. It's a little bit out of the way (about an hour and 15 mins coming from Seattle), but it's relatively inexpensive at $6 / person. My friends brought their kids, so at least kids under 2 years are free. Parents, pack those babies and strollers in the car. Plus, you can do a leisurely trip and make a day of it (since Tulalip Casino and/ outlet mall is closeby on exit 200). After spending a day with kids, maybe you just want to do adult things and gamble. There's two main places for tulips in Mount Vernon (Tulip Town or Roozengarde). It gets super crowded quickly at either place, so I suggest going and leaving early to avoid traffic. It'll still feel a bit cray cray with all the people trying to take pictures in front of the fields of tulips, so be prepared. When it's a nice sunny day, the Tulip Festival is like a beacon for people. Overall, the tulips are a nice thing to view and it's a nice way to spend a beautiful weekend day with friends and family.

Despite other reviewers saying the tulips weren't all quite ready and in bloom, my friends and I still had a great time. We opted for the 8-11am so it would be less busy and by the time we were leaving at 11am, the parking was crazy and the line along the road was jammed. It was our first time so it was nice to see their warehouse area with food and plants to buy, as well as tulip plants, bulbs and bunches to purchase.

I've seen photos of the tulip fields before, but nothing prepared me for seeing them in person. The colors seem to go on forever, and there are so many different varieties of tulips. Everywhere you look feels like a postcard. Honestly, the pictures I took don't even come close to capturing how beautiful it is. A little tip for anyone visiting: wear garden boots or rain boots if there's been recent rain. The parking area is gravel, and some spots can get pretty muddy. Thankfully, there are plenty of porta-potties near the entrance before you head into the farm. The staff were so friendly and helped direct everyone where to go. As you walk toward the fields, you get a little preview of the tulips ahead, and I remember thinking, "Wow, this is beautiful." Then we got into the actual fields and realized that was just the beginning. There were so many great spots for photos. On the day we visited, the sky had those big fluffy white clouds, and the colorful fields reminded me of the Teletubbies landscape my son used to watch when he was little. It felt almost surreal. I also loved that this is clearly a family farm. There was food, a gift shop, and even a catalog where you can order bulbs to grow some of these beautiful flowers at home. The whole area has that small-town, community feel that just makes you slow down and enjoy where you are. Knowing that your visit helps support a local family farm makes it even better. And the mountain backdrop behind the tulip fields? Absolutely incredible. Every time I thought I'd found the prettiest view, I'd turn around and find another one. If you're thinking about going, do it. Just be sure to stay on the paths and help protect the flowers for everyone else. This was one of those places that left me smiling the whole drive home.

The crowd comes with the territory. What really stood out was how well-organized everything was. Staff were actively directing traffic for parking and foot traffic which made the arrival process surprisingly smooth given the turnout. It's clear the organizers put thought into the logistics. The flower variety was truly awesome! Sooo many stunning colors and blooms that you just don't see every day. If you're a photography lover then this place is a dream. Every corner was practically begging to be photographed. They did have concessions on-site, which was convenient but my one suggestion would be to bring in a couple of food carts or local vendors to mix things up. The options were pretty basic. Think hotdogs and the usual staples. A little more variety in the food department would really elevate the whole experience. Minor food note aside, it was a fantastic visit and a perfect way to spend a spring day.

Front to back, we had a lot of tall grass, weeds, and accumulated leaves. Angeles responded to us almost immediately and arranged to come by to estimate the work that night - and it was a Sunday! I'm hard of hearing so I wasn't entirely sure I communicated well with them but they seemed to understand me so we went forward. Their two-person crew arrived spot on time and got right to work. Daniel, the owner, carefully reviewed the work we had asked for. I agreed, and they got right to work. I thought it would take them all day, but much to my pleasant surprise, they were done in half that time. And the work? Perfect. They did everything asked for with professionalism and well-deserved pride. The yard is now presentable (and it hasn't been for a while). We'll definitely be bringing them on for monthly maintenance so it doesn't go out of control again. Cost was very reasonable. The scope of the work we needed was never going to come cheap, and cheap wasn't our goal. We wanted the job done right and we were willing to pay a professional rate to get that level of quality. Angeles Landscape charges a very good rate and, for what you get, I doubt there are better options.
