Even though I cannot be there to look after my mother, I can say for, confidently, that she is being taken care of by the nurses. They are very caring, compassionate, competent, committed and excellent at communication. Even though they are so busy looking after the patients, they take out time to update me whenever I call ( which is a good few times a day) and also arrange a daily video call for me to see my mum. While on the video call, I see them taking care of my mother, as I would, and also placing their hands on my mum's forehead to comfort her as I would do. I want to thank all the nursing staff who are working day in day out to support and look after the patients. I want to mention all the names, but unfortunately, I only remember a few names and I do not know if it will be appropriate to just mention a few names that I remember. I…read morehad been thinking about it because I had lost and gained a lot of weight and the difference in my breast size was becoming more noticeable (especially to me, although it felt like everybody else noticed too!) It was more or less 2 breast sizes difference between the two. I found Mr Maisam Fazel online and was so impressed by the reviews on him and his website (http://www.refreshcosmeticsurgery.com) that I decided that he was the right surgeon for me, even before meeting him! When I first met him, it just reassured me That I was making the right decision. From the onset I felt comfortable and that I could ask any questions needed (although I didn't need to ask many as he was so clear throughout). I finally went for my surgery in August after deciding on 600 & 750 implants. Once that surgery was over, the healing process was as easy as it could be and I was off of painkillers after 5 days. Now that it has been 5 months since surgery, I have never been happier! My breasts are so even and so natural that anybody that didn't know I was having surgery before hasn't even noticed (as I used to cover up so much before anyway!) There is not a bad word I could say about Mr Fazel or the process I went through, pre and post surgery, I only try to thank him for everything!!!

I had my second child here, and overall had a very good experience with labour and the midwives, but the post delivery ward is very busy and I felt somewhat forgotten many times. I found the bathrooms to be exceptionally dirty. The nurses in the Special Care ward were amazing with both the babies they were looking after, and trying to ease the concerns of the parents while informing them of what was happening.

The actual building the hospital is in is fairly modern, clean and generally not busy. There's no A&E but they do have a minor injuries unit, plus the normal outpatients department for visits with consultants. It's twinned with Hillingdon Hospital so between the two sites, they can deal with whatever ails you. Today my visit was to the Minor Injuries Unit, and while the wait was three hours, and I swear people who got in after me were seen first (despite there being no prioritisation, supposedly), when I did get seen, the person was helpful and kind and friendly. I have a broken toe, and there's not much to be done for it, but it's all taped now and secure. I apologised for wasting her time and she reassured me that it's what they're there for and was ever so kind. I'd definitely go back if I needed to without hesitation (but take a friend, a book, a phone, a battery pack - you might be in for a long wait!)

However, having been put off by Queen Alexandra's Hospital in Portsmouth by their lack of physical tour (you have to get by with a substandard YouTube video), and also feedback from others that it was a busy hospital and somewhat akin to a sausage machine (I had one story of someone being in and out in 12 hours - and they didn't necessarily want to be processed so quickly), I decided to opt for Chichester. It was the right choice - indeed quieter, albeit a bit older looking, but still fit for purpose. This maternity ward is very well run, the midwife was very good and I got the epidural that I wanted (needed!) for my third baby. I would definitely recommend this hospital to any nervous mums. Getting the tour and having a chance to ask questions and familiarize oneself with the layout was really helpful in orientating me to the NHS way and allaying any fears/answering questions. My only pick up point was infant security. As I left the hospital the receptionist let me swan out - no outgoing checks, no bracelet checking, no escort to the door, nothing. It made me wonder what the protocol was should there be an attempted baby theft...

I had to see a specialist here today a few months after i wrote this review. the care i received was excellent and the staff i met jolly and helpful. however the toilets in reception were still not up to standard. the disabled one and a cubicle in the ladies were out of order. Out patients 2 and the pharmacy were lovely and clean. There is even a tv in the pharmacy now to pass the time. It is a good hospital but the cleanliness in the loos worry me especially as they have had MRSA outbreaks.

I was quickly allocated a bed and assured I was well away from Covid area. Seen by several nurses and doctors including a CAT scan and allowed to go home after maybe 6 hrs max. Everyone so pleasant, efficient whilst remaining friendly and approachable, explaining all procedures in advance, and appearing to be one happy high efficiency team all working as one.

I went to work though and searched GPs near my office and found these guys. I booked online and was seen super quickly. Apparently they only started here quite recently but it's such a good idea. Yes you have to pay £44 but that's better than not getting seen at all by my NHS GP. Anyone needs to see a doctor go here.
