Luckily, for me, this is the first time I have needed to visit A & E of this hospital after an 'episode'. On arrival by ambulance I was immediately taken to triage and passed through the various departments with total efficiency. I say efficiency but this doesn't lose the fact that there was a lot of joking banter and friendliness with the total professionalism of all the staff. I cannot speak highly enough of all the nurses and doctors in A & E. Thank you guys for making this traumatic experience a lot easier to accept. read more

999 brought an ambulance with two amazing young medics to our door who spent considerable time over blood tests and ECG, liaising with central over unusual features, then took me to the hospital, returning once (not too far luckily) because I had left home with my disabled wife's phone. I was quickly allocated a bed and assured I was well away from Covid area. Seen by several nurses and doctors including a CAT scan and allowed to go home after maybe 6 hrs max. Everyone so pleasant, efficient whilst remaining friendly and approachable, explaining all procedures in advance, and appearing to be one happy high efficiency team all working as one. read more

I have visited Broomfield twice so far. I am yet to find anything to say against it. I also haven't met one person ..... public or staff... who were not polite and helpful. My appointments were on time and even the phlebotists made a long wait enjoyable and time passed quickly. I have a further appointment on Sunday and I am hoping it will go as well as previous visits have gone. Nice to feel like a person rather than an item on a conveyer belt. read more

ERS MEDICAL HOSPITAL TRANSPORT This company we entrust our old, disabled and sick to, for SAFE transport to and from hospitals for treatment and appointments use unlicensed vehicles (no private hire licence) therefore vehicles NOT tested like TAXI's and MINI-CABS because of high mileage. The drivers are NOT licensed therefore NO POLICE CHECK? The crews have NO MEDICAL TRAINING? In the event of a problem with passengers medical needs all they can do is call a real ambulance yet they still drive vehicles marked as AMBULANCE'S and the crew masquerade as highly qualified ambulance crews in their uniforms leading to misrepresentation and false sense of security THEY ARE JUST VAN DRIVERS WITH NO POLICE CHECKS.
