The front desk staff was fairly friendly and the gentleman that helped us purchase the plot was very helpful and walked us through everything. He was also patient with me, in terms of decision making because I was in a total fog since it was barely 48 hours since everything happened. Once we finished the paperwork the gentleman walked us over to the actual location of the gravesite and showed us. On the day of the funeral everything went seamlessly and they did a great job of coordinating with the funeral home. They coordinated well with monument place when we purchased a headstone later in the year. It is definitely expensive but worth it for what you get. I appreciate that maintenance is included and we don't have to pay that on top of everything else you pay for. The location of the gravesite is perfect, about 2 mins from the entrance on Metropolitan. I appreciate the cleanliness of this place, every time we visit Mom's gravesite is clean as well as the surrounding areas. They also communicate well throughout the year, they will send you a flier for seasonal flowers as well as other mail for other things that may need to be addressed. If you are a Catholic and have a Catholic family member that needs a burial I would recommend this place.

He was always available to talk and if he was busy with another family, he definitely returned my calls, texts or emails in more than a timely fashion. In our discussions, I was concerned about the cosmetology but his team did an excellent job with my mother. A morbid thought, I know but truly they did & my praises go out to them. A month and half later, my brother passed away. Because there was going to be two services--one in the town my brother lived in and another in Wallington, Anthony, without hesitancy, picked my brother up at the first service and brought him back to his hometown. Again, he made the process so easy for my brother's children, right down to arranging the military honors. Again, I can only proclaim my high praise for him & Kamienski's and would highly, above highly, RECOMMEND this funeral home for the services of your loved ones. Anthony helped us with everything. He recommended a florist and gave us her cell phone number in order for us to order flowers; others who tried to send us flowers had a very difficult time finding a florist during the pandemic. He contacted the cemetery for us so that we could buy a plot. He picked up the mortal remains from a hospital 20 miles away at no extra cost, and since he was near our house doing so he fulfilled a last minute request to drive by our house with our husband and father. He helped set up a livestream to the funeral home so that we could watch the funeral Mass by his casket since we could not go to church. He made several more accommodations which we asked for. I asked if I could ask for her when I do go, she said yes and that her name is Olga. A couple of weeks later I did visit the cemetery and found Olga working in the office. She remembered our conversation and gave me a map with the directions, she was very kind and offered her condolences for my loss. I was actually thinking I would be given the information and be on my own. However it was totally opposite, she was very helpful, knowledgeable, and her voice and tone was that of an Angel. They did not rush us to leave the cemetery and I was even able to lighten the mood talking to Chaz who would be with us the next day. They accommodated my large family and made us feel like we could really mourn our loss in a safe place. I also learned some of the history of the cemetery and the city of Newark while chatting with the cemetery attendants at the graveside. We noticed that the overall maintenance was a big difference to what we were used to seeing, he explained that they were under new management with a higher standard. The place looks great and he did an excellent job of taking us directly to our site and removed all of the obstruction from the marker and even placed markers for the crew to raise up the (DeNoyells) markers.
