Michael fully supported us in carrying out my father's wishes: no embalming, a closed casket Catholic funeral mass, and our family accompanying him to the cremation. He patiently answered our questions throughout the process, and showed up with things we needed but hadn't prepared - a cross for the casket, a sign in guestbook for the memorial, a grave marker for his burial site.
