I've been to many funerals and, unfortunately, have had to arrange several myself. The McCorrys are everything they claim to be and more: kind, tactful, fair, and deeply understanding. They went above and beyond to help me make everything beautiful yet affordable, at a time when I was already devastated and struggling financially after losing my mom unexpectedly, at a time I had no work, during COVID. They worked with her burial benefits whereas the place mom had always wanted to be attended to (like many Cuban American from Union City) refused. Their compassion was not just professional -- it was human. In an industry where that can feel rare, the McCorrys stand out as extraordinary. They answered all questions at all times of the day. They with us at all times. If we needed adjustments , they did it. The way they prepared his body for viewing. He looked like himself a few years back. A perfect color match and he looked healthier than when he passed. I can't explain it. He looked like dad. Our service ran long and they didn't rush us. He was able secure police escort through the towns all the way to his resting place. Lou was the best. My mom has already told us she wants them to be in charge of her arrangements.
