As we drove to the first of two beautiful and peaceful locations, Vishali gave me an introduction to Sedona--its landscape, its history, and the energy that draws so many people here. What made this experience truly special was how personal and intimate it was. Vishali created a quiet, comfortable environment where we could get to know each other and, more importantly, where I could begin looking inward. Through meditation, reflection, and thoughtful conversation, Vishali helped me bring forward thoughts and memories that had been buried deep inside me. We reflected on past life experiences and discussed how we can look at those experiences differently, learn from them, and use them as a foundation for personal growth and a new direction. We saw "Chimney Rock", "Coffee Pot Rock" (not percolating at the moment..:), Camel Rock, Snoopy Rock, Teapot Rock (very celestial) stopped and toured solo "Chapel of the Holy Cross" (breath taking statue of Jesus, we also surprisingly found a Menorah Christmas Ornament..:), Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock Pathway and Castle Rock. Will also shared with us the history of Sedona, "The Founder, T.C. Schnebly initially wanted to name the post office "Schnebly Station" or "Oak Creek Crossing," but postal authorities rejected them for being too long. His brother, Ellsworth Schnebly, then suggested naming it after T.C.'s wife, Sedona Miller Schnebly, who was known for her kindness and hospitality. A fun informative Trolley Ride, Thank You Will!! I discovered Red Rock Magic Trolley from a Groupon I found online when researching tours in Sedona. I purchased the Groupon, and was able to book our tour for relatively early in the morning (before the weather got too hot). Two days before our tour, I receive a phone call from the company. The woman was very honest; she shared that they overbooked our tour by accident, and they are moving all the Groupon customers to later in the day when they have more availability. The only time that worked for us was 1PM (when it would be miserably hot). I agreed because they left us no choice, but we had to completely rearrange our plans for our trip to accommodate this last minute change. If you are going to offer discount rates, you cannot treat customers differently if they elected to use your discount. THEN, just a couple of hours before the tour, I got another call that the bus was having mechanical issues and that the tour was cancelled. This was our only day in Sedona, and because the tour was canceled only hours before, we were unable to book a tour with a different company. On top of that, we had to go back and forth with Groupon to get a refund because Red Rock Magic Trolley couldn't help us there.

Wow! Talk about a nice visitor center in the middle of a scenic area. There's information inside…read moreabout the geology of the area, the ecology, and more. The displays were quite informative. There was a gift shop area that was closed when I went, but looked like it had an assortment of stuff. My favorite part of the Ranger Station was the hummingbird feeders outside. I saw at least ten different hummingbirds of different species flitting around drinking from the feeders and chasing each other around. Helpfully, there were signs around helping to identify the species of birds. Seriously, I have never seen as many hummingbirds as I have during my visit. They pretty much ignore you too, so you can take photos and such. They're not shy! The bathrooms are outside the main visitor area - pretty standard. Great place to stretch your legs.
