The building was brand-new, and the cleanliness of the building matched its newness. The hallways were long and wide to hold the presumably large student body. My only complaint would be the glass walls that separate the classroom from the hallways, as it could be a safety concern. I found this school to be a safe alternative to the local public schools in Troup County, GA. I appreciate the dedication of the staff, and I am a fan of their practice of holding students accountable. Academically, I found LCS to be appropriately challenging, with the exception of science, of course. I would love to see LCS offer more outdoor play time for all ages of students, because it would be one more benefit for children in need of less restrictive environments, and it costs nothing. I'm happy that my children attended, and I believe that the faculty and staff care about my children.
