I told them I've never worked without a background check, drug test, and payment documentation. the owner's son hired two of us without any paperwork, documentation, or drug test test. unprofessional. I've reported them because the owner is sketchy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE especially infants. They are not background checking people before putting them with children. They also attempt to get you to work without providing payment information. This place gives black owned businesses a bad name. I've reported them to the state but please keep your kids away from this horrible place.

The Business, Engineering, Science, and Technology at the Benjamin S. Carson, yep named after the renowned Neurosurgeon, is an all male campus focusing on the values, ethics, morals & community. & I saw this by watching these Student Athletes interact with each other on & off the football field. Although I have retired my MK hat for the sports community, I was very proud to see the respect these young high school males had for each other...even with a competitive edge gearing up for their game in 2 days. I was in awe to see one of my former community babies who excelled in both high school & college as a Student Athlete, return to his hometown & now at B.E.S.T as a football Coach. The buildings are modern, I am still in awe of the revitalization for the once high crime riddled inner city area of Bankhead. I saw other students that were still in the uniforms watching practice & engaging with one another of positive & respectful behavior. Such a rarity in this current day of secondary schooling...made me so proud. The school is setup to challenge the scholars to operate with a spirit of Black Excellence. Imhotep has been around for 30 years and is truly a hidden gem in the Atlanta area. Black History Month is all year long! Kids learn from Prek to sing the Black National Anthem, recite the Ultimate Student and about the 7 Kwanzaa Principles, and their significance.
