My back yard now looks like a calm, beautiful oasis thanks to Nathan and Hongs Landscaping. I love…read morethe fountain and can't wait for spring when the lilacs bloom.

I visited Hongs today to purchase pond liner. It comes in different widths ad I was not sure of my…read moreoptions. I went with the sales girl back to determine widths and length. I determined that I needed 15 feet of the 20 feet wide and 15 feet of the 10 foot wide. I should have recognized that the sales girl was confused. Because of some odd obsession they require you pay before they cut anything. The sales girl hurried to go up front and ring it up. I was still at the liners ad there was a cut piece that was 20 wide by 10 feet. As I was planning to vut the liner in five foot lengths anyway. If it could help them I could take the partial piece and have them cut a five foot length. I'd be in the same place ad they dispose of the remnant at full price. When /I got up to the counter the sales girl had run in the liner and I wanted fertilizer and grass seed so she rang that up and I paid for it. At that time I asked about the 10 foot by 20 foot piece. The sales girl said she had to ask the manager /owner. The owner's response was well I could discount it at which time I stopped and said I'm not looking for a discount I would just take it as part of my 15 feet. She could not comprehend that I was not trying to cheat her in some way. So I said forget it well just go back and get the two pieces I paid for. At this point the sales girl said I only rang up one piece. I assumed she had rung up the 20 foot wide by 15 feet. So she rang up a 15 foot wide by ten feet. We started back to get the liner pieces cut and something came up that she didn't ring up a 20 foot wide piece. At this point the owner stepped in, She evidently thought that since I was a good person it was opportunity to cheat me. She said you have to pay before we cut it, Kep in mind I had already paid two amounts total in excess of $1,200. As at this point I felt very much like I was being cheated I simply ask them to refund the two charges. They did do that and I left on inspection of the receipts the original pond liner was for 15 feet wide and 14 feet long. I'm sure this was simply an honest mistake due to confusion by the sales girl. The owner interfering was clearing an attempt to cheat me. I always feel like I worked hard for my money and I should not be disrespected when I go to spend it. Although I prefer to shop local when I got home I order the exact same thickness of liner from Amazon at the lengths and width I need. I would strongly recommend that you do not shop at Hongs.

One star only because there's not an option for 0. In March,…read moreI bought a stackable washer/dryer, refrigerator with ice maker and a dishwasher; total of about $1,700. I expected all to work and had a verbal 60- to 90-day warranty with exceptions stated. Got the refrigerator home and as soon as it was plugged into the newly installed water line (by a licensed plumber), it starts leaking. I turned off the water and called them. "Oh, the ice maker isn't under the warranty" was what I heard. They weren't happy but they scheduled their repairman to come fix it. That happened THREE MORE TIMES! I had a conversation with the repairman that perhaps another fridge would be a good option? BTW, when I pointed out condensation to him, he had no idea what the problem was. Turns out the door wasn't shutting tightly. Shouldn't a repairman recognize condensation? Anyway, fridge #2 arrived and repairman/deliveryman hooked it up to the water line. I had to be out of town for a couple days, so when I got home, I was anxious to find the ice bucket full. Nope! Only ONE tray of ice had dropped in a 48-hour time span AND there was a significant puddle in front of the fridge. I waited a few more days. In the meantime, the mysterious puddle showed up again. This fridge/freezer was PROMISED to be working correctly! Oh, one of the people I talked to during this entire time said they were "doing me a favor" by sending their repairman three times. Doing ME a favor? Silly me! I bought it thinking it would work! After the final try, I turned off the water and ordered some silicone reusable ice cubes. There's NO way I would contact them EVER again after this ordeal. BTW, the stackable W/D work perfectly... and I told them so. The dishwasher works great, although a bracket fell off the top rack. I just glued it back on. Again, no way I would EVER contact this company again.
