At Grow Plant Bar, you can pot plants, decorate a terrarium, grab a coffee, sip on a cocktail, hang out with friends and more! This plant filled shop serves the most unique beverages in town. We ordered 3 of the special cocktails: one had bubbles on top, one had Fruity Pebbles, and the other had gold sparkles in it. They had seating inside as well as a patio that you can enjoy on nice days. They had a meeting room where you can work remote or have meetings too! I took our grandkids there to see what it was like. It was a very novel idea and staff was very friendly and helpful, however, I do have to agree with another reviewer, they are overpriced on the containers and possibly plants. I know the price includes the planting medium and some decorations, but it is in my opinion overpriced. This will be a one and done visit. Plants, wine, cocktails, coffee -- Grow has all of my favorite things in one place. This is a cute little bar in downtown Wichita, where you can pop in and get a drink and be surrounded by a beautiful and lush urban oasis. All of the greenery around the store will make you pull out your phone to snap some selfies. I know I did, and I don't usually do that. But the lighting and leaves inspired me. They also have a nice little spot set up with a fancy sofa and some neon signs, just waiting for you to pull out your camera. My intention was to get a glass of wine, but the special of the day was sangria, both red and white. So I got a glass of sangria! It was refreshing, especially on the day that I visited because it was super hot outside. You'll also find a lot of different martinis, throwback cocktails like cucumber gin fizz, all of the liquors and spirits, plus a variety of hot and cold tea, mushroom adaptogen drinks, lattes and lots more. I didn't get to use the plant bar, because I was visiting from out of town and wouldn't be able to bring a plant on the plane. But for those that can: Check out the plants here! This place is FANTASTIC! I was out bumming around with my mom during the holidays, we were downtown and I looked up best places to stop for happy hour. Grow popped up, and it was such a surprise! Yes they have a coffee and cocktail bar, and a happy hour. But their main hustle is PLANTS. To say my mother was excited, is an understatement. They have a build your own terrarium area, plants, books, tchotchkes, and wine. Pretty much all of her favorite things. this place has the best matcha martinis ever!!! i got the berry bliss and the rose garden ones and they were so deliciously creamy. i would definitely recommend the rose garden one. the size portions were very generous as well. the staff was super nice and the atmosphere is such a cute hangout spot. My cousin brought me to Grow on my last visit to Wichita and what a special treat it was! We both got the Botanic Cosmo (for the smoke bubble of course) and it was yummy! Overall we just really loved the vibes of the store and I took it upon myself to return the next morning to get a MUD/WTR drink and make some purchases. I got my mom a gift card to build our own terrariums on our next visit and got some fun pride materials and a pot. I even got a free bag with purchase. Stop by this place! read more

The potting containers are WAY overpriced. The plants they offer are poorly cared for and sickly and overpriced. Staff was uneducated on plant care and unable to offer appropriate planting advice. The bar is super cute and offers some light fare. Would not go back, but good for a one time experience. read more

Best local hangout downtown. The vibe is entices all of your senses. Everywhere you look there are vibrant colors. Creative murals painted on walls, a moss wall with a neon logo sign, local pottery and artwork, marble tables with gold or velvet chairs - perfect photo opportunities no matter where you are. Music is always pleasant and fun. You can smell the coffee when you come inside. They have incredible cocktails, amazing coffee drinks, and delicious pastries. I've wanted to visit Grow for a while, but we never seem to make it on our trips to Wichita. We stopped in today (finally!) and were not disappointed. My fiancé ordered Lavender Fields Forever--it went down quickly with no complaints. I tried it; it was fizzy and floral, perfect as a brunch cocktail. I ordered Golden Hour, a turmeric latte. It was just sweet enough from the honey, just spicy enough with the turmeric, cinnamon, and pepper. I make these at home and it doesn't even compare to what Grow served. I wish there was one of these in Texas! The connected plant and accessories shop is so cute too. Lots to look at while you wait for your drink, and when your order is up there is plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. The staff are also SO nice and communicative. It was very pleasant sitting inside listening to the background chatter of a bustling shop. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! A group of my friends and I came for an evening out, and it did not disappoint!! From the deliciously themed botanical drinks to alllll of the options available in building our terrariums, we loved it!! I personally, have no idea what I was doing, but that was fine! There are laminated guides at every station, as well as super helpful staff going around providing suggestions on which plants to pair or not. You really can't go wrong.
