I mean literally empty and a whole section closed off with no merchandise in there at all. I love kitchen stuff and that's pretty much what they were out of. Really looks like they are going out of business or cutting back alot of merchandise they carried. They have signs up they want you to download their app when you do there is the coupon you can use on certain items. It's not like a place that that rewards you with your purchases. The app is so you know what the sales are and the coupons for certain items ,That's what I seen. Not impressed with the app and it just takes room up on my phone. If I need a coupon I will just down load again sometime. She said with or without a receipt no returns. Have dealt with this manager before when they had dog food priced and it rang up higher. Excuse was it was marked wrong so we couldn't buy it!!! Never heard that before! We haven't been going as often as we use to because most items are outdated. If you find something in date its almost priced as high as a regular grocery store, and it don't expire long after. I guess they don't have a dedicated customer like we use to be. Even my parents slowed down going since his prices have gone higher and they ran into problems trying to return before too. I will make sure everyone knows about the way they treat their customers!

I had been eyeing a patio table for a couple weeks but couldn't bring myself to spend the money on…read moreit. my husband decided to surprise me and take me to purchase it. we drove the 45 mins to the store with our infant and shopped around. when we got ready to get the table and chairs we asked an associate for help and she stated no one was there to get the boxes from the back and refused to sell the display. she said we would have to return tomorrow morning. I was so upset we left our buggy full of things and left. it was 30 mins til closing and she acted as if she just didn't want to be bothered. I was very disappointed!! Def wouldn't recommend them, their customer service is terrible!

Like different merchandise. Not yet anyway. One thing they did stop was buying just one loaf of bread or donuts . Which at the time was crazy because they were out of date or already stale when you ate them. Now you can buy what you want, like English muffins, bagels ,bread or donuts etc. You also pay for your bags if you need some.I think its .05 cents a bag, I did forget to look on my receipt. If your looking for something you need its worth checking here first. You never know what you will find, even for your pets. Its still one of the stores I like checking out when I have time.

The Mighty Dollar in Forest City has accommodating employees, though they could use a few more during the busy hours. Overall the store appears to be organized and clean. A good find especially for those on a tight budget. Corporate should take the time to visit this particular Mighty Dollar Store, let their employees realize they are appreciated ~ bring along with them a sealed envelope with a gratuity of appreciation enclosed. That would go a LONG WAY towards employee morale.

This quaint old fashioned fountain restaurant takes you back in time…read more It is truly inside a drug store. On a Saturday morning it is busy, but the wait line for a table moves quickly. Thankful to locals that explained how it works. If you are a first time visitor make sure you keep your eyes open for people leaving from the back, there are several booths located where you won't see if they are empty, so walk back and check, it is self serve seating, no hostess. If you want to sit at the bar you don't have to wait on line. The area where the booths are located gas a mural that goes along all the walls even into the restroom area...really cool. Coffee is hot and fresh served in cups that reminded me of the blue speckled tin camping mugs we used when we camped, but hard plastic. FYI coffee is .45 during breakfast hours, yes that is right .45 not a typo. My omelet and hash browns were great, lots of veggies and sausage and the hash browns were extra crispy like I asked.
