Once in the store, I was able to receive service. After scheduling an appointment we received a quote to replace the tile in our master bath. We were ready to move forward until we read the contract. The terms of the Good Guys Flooring contract were unreasonable. Per the contract, an upfront payment of 75% is required. Cancellation would result in the loss of up to 50% of the deposit. We requested that a start date and date of completion be added to the contract before we would sign. Without a date, the company could delay our project indefinitely and keep our money after we got tired of waiting. The store representative stated that he needed to speak to the manager regarding our concerns. We never heard from him again. Eventually, the DocuSign contract was canceled. I guess there is such a thing as having more business than you can handle.

The remodel went smoothly, and the workers cleaned the site daily. Since we lived in the house during the work, the crews worked with me to ensure that the disruption was minimal. Every remodeling project will experience changes and sometimes delays beyond the control of the remodelers. Our delays were minimal--a change in kitchen pulls, a reorder of a couple of damaged cabinets, and some minor wall and flooring repairs that were uncovered during the demo. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where.
