Cal and Charles showed up at 8:00am ready to work!!!! They covered all my furniture in the bedroom next to the shower install and covered my floors. I would give ZERO stars if it were possible. I arranged an appointment while attending the State Fair. It was scheduled for Monday at 6:00 PM, and I received a call after my appointment time informing me that the representative was experiencing car trouble and would be delayed. Subsequently, I received another call indicating that he would not be able to attend, and I was required to reschedule. Therefore, I rescheduled for Tuesday at the same time, this time with a different representative. At 5:52 PM, I received a call stating that the other representative had a flat tire and that I needed to reschedule once more. NOT ON YOUR LIFE! If they cannot even attend for a consultation and estimate, I have serious doubts about their reliability in completing the job. DO NOT waste your time!!! The pricing was about 8 times the price I would pay for a literal plastic shower insert. The pricing was not transparent, no differentiation between parts and labor. Long story short a retail price of $46K for two shower inserts. and a special 30 day discount of $34K. The person on the phone told me they had a special....free installation on purchased shower units. The rep that came to my house had not idea what I was talking about. No matter, because the quotes don't separate out parts and labor, but I can tell you, that the parts could not have costed more than 2000 per shower, so their 1 day installation cost is between 17K and 23K in labor. For one day of labor with probably 2 dudes. I am highly offended by this company. read more

Out of fairness, I want to update my review as Toni has been diligent to help me. The six (Window Mart) windows were replaced a couple weeks ago with six Anlin windows and the company also sent a contractor out to fix the swollen wood from the prior windows. I found out upsetting information as to the previous install but at least the company is doing everything possible to make it right. This has been a long process due to material shortages which I understand. The City came to inspect the work today and passed the new install. I appreciate that this was done to remain compliant with the city. As Toni and I discussed, I am giving the company 5 stars for making this situation right. It was no small feat. read more

Expo Home updated my outdated kitchen, reinforcing a separating cabinet and updating the colors, look, and hardware. I love the pop-up storage, soft-close features, and added drawers and glass cabinets. These changes transformed the kitchen from dark and dreary to light and bright. My design consultant helped me pick colors and hardware. The installers were on time, friendly, and clean, and they removed my old countertops. Saw commercial (jacuzzi bath). Salesman came out. One day project - Aug 15th. Fixtures quality - very low end. Manager came out, agreed it looked terrible. 2 weeks later technician showed up (on the day after he was suppose too) with wrong finish and incorrect fixtures. Technician apologized and said he would send info above mangers position. Thankfully, Nicole stepped in and corrected the issue within 2 days. 52 days to complete a one day job. read more

We had a design consultant from Expo Home Improvement show us different designs and colors. Our kitchen used to be dull and gray. Ray helped us choose white and navy, which we love. He also helped us pick the style, trim, and handles. The installers were super nice and clean, finishing the project in about two days. They made our home look brand new. Our salesperson, Sterling Gross, was good at his job, but was not pushy. In fact, he worked with us to help defray the costs by suggestions and having a $500 off coupon he offered us. It seemed like it took a long time for the panels to arrive, but when considering we're not the only house in Dallas getting a bath remodel, then it made sense. The installer, Daniel, was a pro and did a fantastic job. We're really pleased with the results. Lastly, the acrylic is so smooth the water just beads off, and the caulked seams are so smooth it looks like there's no seam - he used colored caulk that matches the shower pan. I'll update with pictures. But I love the transformation! The consultation was easy, I met with a few people to get everything started and placed my order. I waited a few week to have my parts made. On the day of the installation, the installers were nice, cordial, professional. They even installed my lighting and bathroom mirror, which doesn't typically come with the order If I have an issue I call them and they are helpful. I have called twice within the past year to help with caulking, which they have come out twice to fix it. I will definitely use them for my second bathroom after I have saved enough to start that bathroom! read more

Too long waiting on quote of windows and doors. Initially I had contacted another company, Powell & Sons, and this company, Expo Home Improvement, called me. Nice and friendly but someone let the ball drop. They canceled the initial appointment and surprised me with the door salesman the following day. It worked out because he was able to show me windows as well. But I also had another appointment scheduled with an electrician at the time this salesman showed up. I wasn't able to visit with him personally on what electrical work needed done. The door salesman should have taken it upon himself to leave but didn't. My husband dropped his work to visit with the electrician. The door salesman had the gall to tell me he had driven 2-1/2 hours to come. I had driven 7 hrs to meet them on the day before just to find out they canceled the appointment. They canceled 2 hrs before the appointment. It was an emergency and things happen. This was a fiasco. Then to top it off they can't follow through in a timely manner with a quote. It's been 4 days. The other 2 quotes I received from others came immediately upon closing of meetings. Window Expo just finished installing new windows in our recently purchased, older home. We had used them 4 or 5 years ago to replace the windows in our prior home. Once again we are extremely happy with our new windows! They look terrific and we can already feel the improved solar efficiency, particularly on the West facing windows. From the sales team to the install team everyone was friendly and professional. I love the fact that they communicated so well. We never needed to call them and never needed to guess about things (when would the install begin, what time would they arrive, what about permitting, how long to complete, etc) because they kept us updated constantly. When you make a sizable investment in a home improvement one thing you don't need is additional stress wondering about your contractor. Had 25k worth of windows installed in mid 2020 and since that time I have been ghosted on getting anyone from window expo to call me back after noticing huge drafts coming from windows. I have now had three separate companies who have all stated that the installer needs to come back out to see the windows were too small and caulked to fill the gap. With this type of investment I expected a little more responsiveness and now I'm turning to writing poor review in hope of someone from window expo or what is now expo home improvement. I can't believe after the window install my energy usage actually went up, that disappointing seeing as I paid for Arlin Del Mar due to its ratings on engergy effeciency. What a disorganized, poorly trained mismanaged business! I was impressed by their services and web site only to be amazed by their stupidity. I messaged thru their site as interested in their services. If I had wanted to speak with them at that moment I would have picked up the phone. My phone rang in less than one minute as if they were bored or few ever contacted them. As if this wasn't poor form they called the first day every hour or two! I don't mind the effort EXCEPT TGEY NEVER ONCE WERE PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH TO EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE.. Just kept calling and calling. Now I have done a lot a sales training and that is just plain abusive and ignorant. Having run a customer service business for 34 years I appreciated hearing how and why we messed up, when we did. I let people know and the intelligent ones appreciate it. I finally answered one of their calls when it was convenient for me and asked the representative why they leave no message but to continue to harass potential business. They had no answer other than their training so I asked the to have someone in their management team call me. Amazing the calls continued for 7-10 days with no message, until a woman in management called. I relayed the above which she apologized for and told me she would have a knowledgeable representative call me. I did get a call from a Michael Lambert, I returned the call the following day AND HAVE AFTER A MONTH NEVER HAD A CALL BACK. Inexcusable, moronic and just plain STUPID! You know, you can't fix stupid! Avoid at all cost, these folks don't know which way is up! read more

First Master Bath Project was a total failure. The installation crew, Johnathan & Ken did a very sloppy job and installed broken panel, wrong shower rod and damaged walls/broke floor tile requiring painting damaged spots. The crew did not seem to care about protecting the bathroom . They put up a broken shower panel and tried to caulk over the broken edge. The installers brought out bent handicap rail to install and actually installed the incorrect shower rod. The installers attitude was we put up what they send us. They left for the day and did not tell me anything about the damage to the my walls or when they would be repaired. I contacted the installer the next morning and told him of the multitude of problems I found. Very poor communication with the crew. I called the company and could not get anyone to respond. I finally emailed my long complaint list to the owner and then I began working with the Customer Service Manager. Very poor installation crew that has turned a 2 day job in a wait until the correct shower rod comes in to complete. The second bath to shower conversion was completed a different crew and went perfect. These Installers, Ricardo R. & Nick S., did a great job. They were professional and very customer oriented. Thank you Ricardo and Nick for the great Second Bath Conversion -- Wish we would of had you guys on the Master Bath. Maybe the Master Bath will be finished in the future. read more

Update: Toni came out to my home to do a final quality check of the windows with her team. Thankfully the windows have no scratches or issues, which is great since I was worried I'd have to block off more time out of my work schedule to be present for window repairs/replacement. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Toni and she was able to compensate me for my lost hours at work which was a huge relief. I cannot commit to changing my review to a full 5 stars because I cannot overlook the fact it felt wrong that as a customer I was chasing down contacts to make new installation dates. Cancelations for appointments happened the day of which meant I couldn't be present for work and the crew members definitely need an attitude adjustment when it comes to talking about other crews. All in all though, I'm satisfied with seeing the end of this project. Being compensated for my lost time really means a lot to me since I know many businesses wouldn't go through the lengths to do that. Toni clearly cares about WindowExpo's customer satisfaction and that is enough for me to more than likely be a returning customer whenever we decide to get more windows replaced in the future. ---------------------------------------------- This company has thoroughly disappointed me. My friend referred me to them since I had a window project I was eager to complete this year. They had a representative come to my home and woo me on how high quality the windows were and I was excited to get the project started. The day the first crew of installers came out, they arrived late which I didn't mind at first since I'm used to renovations starting later than usual. Everything seemed to be good until they left early because they "couldn't get out my top windows". They told me someone would call me (they didn't I had to call them) about having a sheet rock specialist come out. A sheet rock specialist came a week later and said I'd definitely have sheet rock damage removing the windows but they could repair it. I was informed this wasn't common so I was pleased to hear they were on top of it. The next crew they planned to send out rescheduled on me TWICE. Each time they said they'd call to reschedule and they didn't. I had to chase down multiple people several times to make arrangements to complete my project. Someone in the crew mentioned the first crew probably didn't have any actual problems with the windows, they were just being lazy and didn't want complete the project since the windows in question were high up. I was shocked and explained to him how frustrating it was to hear that since this project has been half completed for over a month now. Yesterday, the installation crew finally came out to complete the project. I was so relieved the project was finished until this morning when I realized it appears some of the windows have cracks in them. Not only did they leave without saying they were done for the day, but they left mud all throughout my house. They promise a lifelong warranty, which is great, but is it worth having your house undergoing project for close to 2 months? If I could go back and pick a different company I definitely would. read more

Then said he would fix it for additional 5000 dollars. So I started off at 15k and ended up at 20k. Did I mention they didn't do any other work . No floors no paint no fixtures . I have had 5 or 6 of these type places come out I tell them on the phone I have bad credit, then we they get here they tell me credit will not be a problem. Called for a rep to come out and give a quote to replace a large window. Phone rep said would not even bother to come out unless I had at least 3-4 window minimum. BIG mistake!!! I needed to know what type of pricing they had during this holiday and was looking to get a quote for that one window to see what they would charge. I am actually redoing about 10 wood windows. I will not recommend this company to the other friends I have that are also replacing all of their wood windows. I was expecting the company to be really good to work with. On installation day, the window installers went to the wrong house to do the install, so half of the day was wasted. When the representative called to apologize, I inquired about the promotional $250 gift card that they were advertising with a new install. He assured me that I would be entitled to one, especially since they had messed up the install schedule. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THAT GIFT CARD. Additionally, I called and complained that the cedar wood that was used to trim around the windows was placed rough side out and looks "HAIRY" even after painted! I was called by a representative on a Friday and he said he would call me to discuss on the following Monday. To date, no one has returned my call. That was over 2 weeks ago. After spending more than $12,000.00 to do windows for just the front of my house, I expect more than this. They rave about their transferable lifetime warranty, but in reality that will never make or break a deal on selling my home. My neighbor had his entire 2 story house windows replaced by a different company for less than $12,000.00. Companies should be giving stellar customer service during the Covid-19 pandemic. We used Bath Expo several years ago before they changed their name. Now It's the same wonderful people and company who turned our ugly master bathroom into the spa it is today. Every person working on the transformation was skilled and easy to work with. From demolition, to following the design I'd created, to adding additional touches that brought it to life - we went from a dingy bathroom with difficult closets, to a room we still love to this day.
