I had a short timeline for a need for a pair of brass plates to go into a shadowbox. I came to Chesapeake Trophies on a Monday, and I saw the sign on the door that stated Monday's were by appointment only but the owner waved me inside and asked what I needed. I wound up leaving shortly afterwards with exactly what I was looking for, two gorgeous brass plates professionally mounted in a shadowbox. The storefront is tightly packed with many examples of what can be made here, and there are far more examples available in their catalogs. Something to remember with this store is that it isn't like the mall stores where they only display and sell things made elsewhere. Chesapeake Trophies is directly connected to their engraving and wood shop through a door in the back of the storefront, so there will be dust, but they are more able to accomodate short notice orders. It may not look the nicest, but you will have high quality keepsakes and trophies made here at better prices than what I was able to find on the base nearby, all with outstanding customer service.

My parents were very pleased as well. They dropped off a watch that my grandfather had gifted my mom many years ago. This was no ordinary watch and required that it be sent off to another craftsman. My parents gave permission for that to happen. There was some trouble encountered here resulting in the watch needing to be replaced. G&H went far above and beyond in rectifying this situation when they easily could have said sorry not our fault. My mom picked up her new watch today and loves it. It is very close to the original antique watch. Any business can encounter a problem it is all in how they handle it and David could not have done a better job!!! Then told me the second one needed to be shipped off for repair, and that they couldn't help. She was rushed and not interested in taking my money.. so I went elsewhere.
