A true "gem" of a place to purchase and repair jewelry. Upon entering, one is greeted warmly and…read moreprompted to procure a complimentary parking pass. The customer service is stellar! The wait time was minimal. The jeweler was in and I was prompted to wait for services rendered. It was less than time indicated. Many smiles and pleasantries. I would recommend this establishment to any and everyone.

Disappointed yesterday. My concerns about my heirloom ring repair gone wrong were met with…read moregaslighting, arrogance, defensiveness and condescension from the owner and more than a tinge of hostility from the jeweler repair man. The implication that they did me big favor in repairing my heirloom ring when in fact they got the sizing completely wrong having measured and sized me at a 9 and 1/4 at drop off and the jewelry repair man ignored everything and gave me a size 10 ring at pick up!!. I was gracious despite the error and waited patiently (time is money ) while it was resized again not knowing the smoothe new shank being resized would leave me with CLEARLY visible bumps and bruises. Instead of helpful and remorseful the jewelry repair man was immediately argumentative and despite efforts to quell the tension I was continually met with claims by the owner she couldn't even see the OBVIOUS DIVOTS and lack of smootheness with her magnifying glass. (TOTAL GASLIGHT My clever college age daughter aptly summarized in the car on the way home.) Dripping with condescension the owner reminded me that it was a 100 year old ring (70 years actually and what does that have to do with clear visible marks on a BRAND NEW shank?) Why did your guy not size the ring correctly the first time? I said none of this by the way. I was polite and merely tried to show them the imperfections that resulted from the (SECOND) repair caused by their sizing error! The owner also reminded me she mixed in the old gold from the original ring with the new gold ( umm so? We discussed this in advance ??) and.she reminded that 14 karat gold had been added to the lesser quality 10k Gold of the original Ring .Uhhhh again Sooooo? Again, these are all the details we discussed for the contract to resize and repair the original ring. So how does this address my issue of holes and lack of smootheness in the ring after Brandt's employee got my ring size completely wrong, dand then the REPAIR TO THE REPAIR caused lasting damage? I didn't come in there angry. I came in there just to discuss the matter and show them the issues hoping they would say " oh we are SORRY and lets just smoothe them out for you. " I lost out on a brand new shiny shank (and some gold). So exactly how is this my fault? No we're so sorry let's take a look and see what we can do? Nope. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. !!! This is the part where I contact my credit card company to reverse the charge. BUT NO I wont. Just maybe me not reversing the charge will save the next customer the trouble and the condescending owner will make jewelry repairman read the directions and do his job. I wont.let them blame me for seeking a freebie instead. Nope I won't give them that to fall back on. The owner's arrogance and condenscion are not going to change. I know her type so I defintely can't make it about the money. It won't penetrate. I can afford it. I concluded the debacle like a school teacher to a child who did something naughty. I had to articulate it for her to get the owner to admit the imperfections (divots and rough edges) happened as a part of the 2nd resize. "It wont compromise the ring I said, will it?" No she said and off she departed to the back office. How embarrassing. I didn't leave tail between my legs. She did. It was pathetic. She didn't even know I played her to get her to admit. My Ivy league Masters degree in mental health helped me manage her bad behavior in the face of which my daughter witnessed me conduct myself with decorum, and respect despite not receiving the same in return. Look at the ring in the pic. What would you do? I am out 200 dollars . Also, I am out time (which is money) waiting for resize when it wasn't done correctly. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY CF.Brandt. ! Suffice it to say I won't be revisiting CF Brandt Jewelers again. I suggest you stay away as well.

I went to this shop three times and was serviced by Rhonda. I was a walk-in client. The first time…read moreshe took my weave out, dyed my hair, added a few tracks, trimmed, and relaxed my hair for $140.00 w/tip. I didn't leave it in long because the tracks were huge and right in the front of my head so they were hard to cover after a week. I went back in two weeks and she set my hair on rods. The curls were extremely tight and my hair looked like a small afro. The third week when I arrived to the shop at my appointment time she had left the shop to go to TJMaxx and had to be called from another stylist there working to come back to the salon, after knowing I was on the way. She proceeded to be nosy and ask me personal questions, get personal about her personal business, and talk/whisper about her clients, and coworkers to me which I also thought was very unprofessional. Every time I went my hair only lasted two days or less but I gave her several chances because I needed to get my hair done consistently and wanted it to get back to a healthy state. I decided to start going to the gym and I needed something that would withstand a workout and every time I went to her it was an issue on what she was going to do to my hair even though she claims to be a stylist. I called Rhonda the next week or two and asked If she braided hair and she said "No" but referred me to a friend. I already knew someone who braided hair so I didn't use her referral. I ended up taking the braids down because they were too bulky for my military hat and not in compliance with our regulatory guidance of hair standards. At that time the lady who braided it did a quick sew-in because she didn't want me to walk away with nothing since I had paid her and refused to take my money back. I texted Rhonda the next day and asked if she could redo a bob sew in because the lady just sewed hair in hair which was long and pulling and still not what I wanted. I never received a return text from Rhonda. So I called her once, on two different days (Tuesday then again Friday) that I knew she should be available and she never returned or answered my calls. Finally I texted and asked her if there was an issue and if I had done something that offended her to why she wasn't returning my calls. I told her I hope she wouldn't be that unprofessional and childish as to not return a clients phone calls. I immediately got a response saying she had a wedding party and was extremely busy and that was why she hadn't responded and would call me later. I knew that was a lie because when I was there getting my hair done she consistently stayed on her phone inappropriately talking and texting. I tried the down play to whole thing and told her well, if you have an issue just let me know because I can be a bit much. Which is true and not true. I am just not for fakeness, unprofessionalism, or immaturity. She called me a few hours later with a petty, childish attitudish tone like she had been doing my hair for free when in fact she had charged me close to 300.00 for three visits. I didn't appreciate her trying to turn it on me, or chastise me for expecting her to do what she gets paid to do! Then for her to call and lie to my face and act like it was about me being inpatient. As if a week is not enough time for a professional stylist/hairdresser to return a clients call. My opinion is she was mad because the other lady gave me a sew-in or that I went to the other lady at all. Which in my opinion is absolutely crazy because I can spend my money wherever I choose. This was the worst experience I have had in my 20 year military career with a hair stylist. She was extremely unprofessional and she wasn't the best hair stylist. The prices she charged weren't consistent and she was pricey around 70-130 per visit for a wash and style. In closing "we" have to do better. We want people to support our business' yet we are unprofessional and rude to the client's like they owe us something when they are paying for a service! I don't recommend this business or this stylist. Especially when there is a shop on every corner that would love to have a return client. For nearly $70.00 a service it is not worth the hassle or frustration.
