Think twice about booking here as you cannot guarantee you'll have a room when you show up. The service and professionalism at this resort is despicable.
My fiancé and I booked and prepaid a room on May 10th for the evening of July 30th for a friend's wedding in the area. On July 20th my fiancé sent in email to the owner Peter asking for confirmation of our check in time. Four days later (July 24th), which is now 6 days before our scheduled arrival, we received an email from Peter saying that they have cancelled our reservation with less than a weeks' notice as they had overbooked.
It's clear that if we hadn't even asked for our check in time, we would have shown up to this resort on our expected check in day to find out that we do not have accommodations for our close friend's wedding. I don't even understand how a BnB can even overbook rooms other than complete incompetence. They didn't even bother to call us. When we called them to figure this out they treated us as if our business was not valued in any way. I'm sorry but for an employee to treat customer that way is unacceptable and a very bad business practice. Unfortunately for you, your customers business is the only thing that matters. Otherwise you have to close your doors. You have willingly lost a customer who had already paid you and will never get their business again.
I work hard for my money and therefore, I only do business with people or organizations that value each and every customer. If you like to wastefully give money to people who do not value you as a customer then this is the place for you. read more
